where's a good photo host?

Is there a photo/video host that allows direct linking, is free, and wont put their watermark on my pictures?

Some sites like www.Shutterfly.com will let you, but only for a temporary length of time.

I tried Sony's imagestation.com, but its not coming up.
Is it just down for overnight maintenance ?

Yeah, Sony should work too I would guess, but same thing limited time. They probably don't want their server loaded with stuff.

Hopefully they give you a link to "share with friends".

i use yahoo geocities, they keep all your pictures as long as you want.

and you can link to them without a password.

Just copy the url into the message, highlight it and click the Img box above the message are and you're done.

under the pictures in the photo album it should show a couple of links just copuy the img link into the msg
