    Talking 9 Drums Gladiator

    The owners ad said:
"It worked, then one day it didn't".
I had to remove oversized (13.5 mm) balls from the ball tracks, shooter tray, shooter tray interior and payout motor. They were JAMMED in most places. Had a few mashed balls too.
It took an hour to get them all out.
    It plays perfectly now.

I've seen this type of machine for sale here around Houston, Tx before.

What the general opinion on the play quality of this machine?

The fever music is good, but the general play music gets real old really fast. It's fun watching the reels during fevers though. I'm usually done with this one after ~30 min.

    Oh... oh, man.

I -completely- forgot there was a Gladiator model before the current one:

Current one is quite nifty, btw. It has a glass lcd overlaying the drums and allows for full screen video.
Currently Own: Nothing. I play mostly online now.

Correct. It has nine real reels behind the glass. When a movie is playing, you won't be able to see them, though. (LCD covers them by emitting black light and the real lights go off.)

There are several times, however, when a single real or multiple reals will be shown along with a movie / animation.
Currently Own: Nothing. I play mostly online now.
