I'd be willing to help people in the South Florida area. I've done two playfield replacements on my model A's. My facilities are very limited, also my funds are limited. But if someone wants me to help repair/clean up their machine I'm game. They would need to pay for parts and a little extra for the labor. Of course I would need to negotiate that but I get a weird sense of satisfaction seeing a machine all cleaned up. If I can do that without having to buy every machine I want to "fix" it's a bonus.

We've had several newcomers ask where they could get a machine fixed. I think it would be a valuable list to those folks. Maybe a list by state or area, the person/business name, what type of machines such as vintage, modern, pashislo,(unless you want to limit this to vintage) and what services they can perform (repair or restoration). I would avoid publishing monetary rates, let the service provider and customer work that out. Depending on the work done, a lot of times I'm happy with no money and a case of beer.

You can put me down for Southwest Louisiana/Southeast Texas.

Edit: And no need to limit this to the U.S. We need to find hanabi something to do.

This is what I like about Pachitalk. This thread was dead for just over 4 years, and now it's been given new life by our members, who are willing to help out others.

    Thanks guys and girls!
    Gotta catch 'em all Pa-chink-o

I didn't realize the thread was that old.

I looked on the web site, and didn't see that any such list existed. If he's no longer interested in hosting such a list, I would be willing to do it on my web site. You know, the one I wasn't quite ready to make public yet.

I've got 2 moderns awaiting conversion back from cyclic for somebody, its just finding the time. Also requires general plastic repair and tidy the wiring.

I'm dragging this thread back to the top because several have recently shown a desire to be on such a list, and may not have seen my web site launch thread. I've added this list to my web site: pachinkoparts.com - Local Repair Services

The list is intended for people who may not have a web site but still want to let the locals know that someone is available in their area.

I thought it would be a bad idea just to start grabbing contacts off this thread. So, if you'd like to be in this list, message or reply with a name that you want to do by, type of machine (vintage or modern or both), repair or restore or both, and your contact information, whether it me email, phone, or both. But please note that this is a simple html page and it will be easy for spammers to mine your information from it. You have been warned.

    Well I'm in Orange County.

I specialize in vintage but will take a look at moderns as well and try to get them running again.

Also as a side note, I'm not sure how other members feel but I think this thread should be a sticky so new members could try to find someone close to them who is willing to help.

    100 machines and counting...

I can assist with any vintage owners in Southern Arizona. Also willing to assist anyone else if I have the parts to spare as always.
