back in the 60's when i had my 1956 ford convertible, i was going to get it repainted all black, i had a new white top and white walls on it already.

i wrote TALL PAUL on the sides of both back fenders a few weeks beforehand.

i picked up about a half dozen different colored markers plus a can of primer and over the weekend at our summer cottage outside of chicago i had my friends write and draw stuff all over the car body

people looked at us driving around llike we were crazy

then sunday nite i handed out some extra fine emery paper and we hand sanded the car down for the monday morning paint job

it was a classy looking car and i always got a lot of compliments about it

it has a sweet sounding 292 V8 with duals and glasspacks

I had a ratty old 70 camero with "Millenium Falcon" on the back. It was a hunk of junk, but it made .8 past light speed!

If your looking at a ruler and you go .8 PAST 1, then it's 1.8.

I haven't seen the movie in a while, it's actually .5 past light speed

    Cool Re: Stardate 62845.9

You should have spent the $4 on some polishing compound.

I also never wash my truck, but I don't have forms of life adhered to it either! It may not be ready for takeoff according to Sid, but leave that thing in the weather much longer and it will 'crawloff' on its own.

I know, you Oregonians like to think 'green'. At least you'll be saving some fuel if you can get the thing to crawl. You'll have to post the video when it does. I'm betting MIT will want to see that.

I will have you know that I did wash the truck and I used 5 rattle cans fixing the rust spots. It may have a few hull breaches but at least the life forms are gone now

I scraped, and ground and got as much off as possible first, then hosed it down with thus white primer-paint in hopes of slowing the decomposition of the bed

Shouldn't have done that. I'm sure some of those were alien life forms.

First I want to thank BigBearSteve for helping me out with this. He went out of his way to make and sent the new and much better lettering to me out of the kindness of his heart.

yes I still need to take the old ones off but I am very happy with my shuttlecraft now. Larry may be registered to a ship that was destroyed but still transports crew and cargo around the federation and Seven is happy to be associated with such a fine ship as the Prometheus.
