I unfortunately agree about that. I got replies next days of my email before, but now, it take usually one week to get an answer.

I wish to find someone else for order of complete pachinko.

For the parts, I use Japamart because I know they will always be under 30kg, but for a complete machine, I can't be sure and need someone who can remove the transformer or send machine in two box. For now I don't have any other person than Kiai for this purpose.

The problem is with YJA auction being set to end after 3, 5 or 6 days, if we ask politely if he would agree to bid on an auction, and he reply after 5 days, it's unfortunately too late to send any payment.

Well you can still use him for purchases from online stores like p-stock at least. His packaging and knowledge of the machines are just awesome. I got my Kamen Rider from him this way. As a free bonus he included a promotional set for the machine). Unfortunately the animatronics in the cell were not okay and it was no problem for him to get another set of animatronics for the machine within two weeks (from Japan to Germany). And this for no extra cost!

And to get back on topic: The second machine I bought from him was Mazinger-Z from Okumura. It's a Hanemono
I saw it on a sunday morning on YJA for a BIN of 5000 YEN, contacted Kiai immediately and two hours later it was mine. Maybe it was pure luck but he can be very fast and I will definitely do more business with him. The Mazinger-Z arrived three weeks ago (slow boat) in perfect condition - extremly well packed.

Yeah... now I think he is best utilized as an agent to buy stuff from stores.

Time sensitive transactions never did work all that well with Kiai

Montana, could you post some pics of it unwrapped and plugged in? The only Mazinger-Z I've seen is a regular modern and not a hanemono.

Wow, that is really cool. I like that WAY more than the regular version! The other version is a bit too cluttered looking for my taste, this is a more subtle look. I'm starting to get quite jealous of all you folks with battle counters...

Out of interest, and a point of reference. How much was your shipping costs by boat. It can't be that much difference to another part of europe.

... straight out of the mail from Kiai:

"shipping from japan to german 12700yen"

The Mazinger-Z was only 25 kg.

You can check all rates here (boat=surface parcel):

    http://www.post.japanpost.jp/english...el/parcel.html

    Europe is Zone 3.

WHOA - that's really cheap shipping to Germany! That's cheaper than I've been quoted from other sellers to California! I just might have to send that guy with Avant Garde an email...

They haven't changed there rates since October 1, 2003?

Not sure we can use surface or SAL for pachinkos to the US. (size more of an issue than weight)
