    Default ball shooter troubles

I just acquired a Sanyo Scarlet Pachinko today & cleaned all the jammed balls & Pez candy from the machine. Tried shooting the balls & found out the striker is cocked open preventing the motorized cam from striking it. See attached pics & the linkage that connects the striker to the ball loader seems to be the culprit. when I disconnect the wire from the plastic & striker it will function correctly but not load balls. is that wire supposed to be in the plastic? or is the little spring on the wire supposed to have an arm that goes into the plastic? I do not know the age of find any info on this machine & I'm hoping someone can give some info.

I don't think that wire is supposed to go through the plastic piece like that. The plastic piece should rest on the wire to the left of the wire so that every time the shooter trips back, it pushes the plastic piece back also.

hard to say if it should be on the hole or not

went adn looked at my old machine and it is a little different then your but it is not in any hole.. the wire catches it and pulls it.. more like a true vintage would..

if i were u i would try 2 different ideas

1 remove it from the hole and try that.. (my gues is that will be the wrong fix..

2 im making a "S.W.A.G." and saying the wire stays in the hole but the screw holding the wire to the striker need to be loosened and reset teh wire in a different position

    thats my guess

    good luck to ya

ps it might be both ideas too??

Thanks, I took it out & with a little adjusting it works perfect. This machine works great & the screen looks great too. Any info on this machine? I haven't seen one anywhere. I'm curious as to the age of it.
