    Hi Andy,
Welcome to pachitalk, E1 error code means coin hopper is jammed in some way

Error code now cleared after cleaning the hopper and doing a full reset.Unfortunately now the tokens are not being accepted the counter remains on 0.all the lights are on looks ready to go. Anybody got any ideas. Many thanks to Derek 1960

Switch power off and try a light spray of WD40 on the coin mec press the jammed coin release a few (hundred) times to see if it frees anything up.
Sound like it just needs a good cleaning all over if it's been standing a while

WD-40 Scares the hell out of me. Leaves a residue that attracts dust.

When you turn on the machine, you should hear a click of an electromagnet in the coin chute.

When the magnet is closed, the machine will accept coins.
when it is open, coins fall though into the tray.

You may still have an error. When in error, the machine will reject additional coins.

Is there any good info about troubleshooting the coin hopper? I have the exact same problem-haven't tinkered too much with the hopper yet

Hi all thanks for your replies.i have cleaned the token acceptor mechanism and it all looks good but the tokens still keep going straight through. When the machine is powered up everything comes on and looks ready to go but there is no click of the electromagnet in the coin chute. It may be that i haven't done the full reset correctly can any body let me know the correct details of how to do a full reset on this machine?
