    Default Power Flash "Micro Switches"

I was playing my power flash yesterday, and one of the solenoids was locked open.
This caused the tulips (on one side) to stay locked open at all times.

There are only three components that make up the electronics on the powerflash--(Solenoids, Relays, and micro switches)

I checked and ruled out the solenoids and relay. That was easy. Now on to find the "Micro Switches"

Turns out the "Micro Switches" are nothing more than regular old leaf switches, and there is nothing "Micro" about them.
There are a couple in the back of the playfield, behind the plastic.
Then there are a couple more that I found hidden in the front jackpot mechanism. They are really well hidden, but this turned out to be the source of my problem.

It turned out to be pretty easy to check the switches.
The switches in the back of the machine have a couple of wires that you need to trace.
But the switches in front of the machine connect to a small plug on the back of the machine (Circled in green).
Simply unplug, and check the switches here. Piece of cake.

Turned out that my problem was the arm on the leaf switch had somehow worked itself free from the groove that is supposed to hold it in place.

Anyways... Here are the customary pictures...
Microswitch locations are circled in red, Plugs in Green.

I have also included a picture of my power flash when i rescued it.

Very interesting. I'm not a big fan of leaf switches so overtime I will change those out. Microswitches are easy to find online. Your PF has those leaf switches and relays whereas mine (PF with different jackpot theme) does not. Are those extra components what allow the yellow tulips to only close the tulips on that side as opposed to closing all?
