If you could design a pachislo...
Wouldn't be great if there was a "Willy Wonka" of the pachislo industry?
And how freakin awesome would it be to be awarded a "Golden Ticket" (so to speak) by hitting a hidden bonus on one of these wonderful machines?
A Golden Ticket that would entitle you as the winner to design your dream pachislo.
What theme would you choose?
What company would you want to produce it?
What features would you include... a touch screen, LCD, Plasma, surround sound, 4 reels, etc?
I'm not talkin customs here...

Personally, I have at least half a doz titles that I'd love to see manufactured.
Mostly movie titles like Hellboy, Jaws, & I'd like to see a "digital remaster" of the Star Wars pachislo.
(personally I'm not in love with what they put out in the 1st one, especially for $750)... sorry
Anyway, the one at the top of my list would be The Matrix
I honestly can't believe that no manufacturers ever made this.
Although the 2 sequels weren't the powerhouse the 1st film was, it's still a better trilogy than the Jar Jar years.
If I were to commision this pachi I would contract AbiliT or Yamasa.
This is what I would include
2 video screens - The 1st would be fullscreen such as the Starwars/LOR machines (no physical reels) & the second would be up top between the speakers.
They would simultaneously interact during gameplay & the top would mostly handle movie clips whereas the fullscreen would be the "videogame" portion.
Wireless connectivety - Where in certain rounds you could "battle" others that play/own another Matrix pachislo.
Webcam feature - You could see who you are battling (top screen) & posibly include an interface
where the cam would scan your face to the face of an ingame character.
And a system for tracking credits between machines...
For instance, if you had a battle against another pachi player, you could win credits from them & they would lose credits.
