Default Need a little Help Please

I was wondering if anyone could help me with classification. I am sure that it is a 1973 or 1974 Nishijin model. I wondering so i could order a manuel for it as it needs some work. Any help would be great. Thank you!

    Hey J,

There is a document in the research area that outlines the mechanics of your model of Nishijin. A few posting and you will have access to the research area. Also, do a forum's search for 'How a Vintage Pachinko works' This should help you find the thread in the forum that hows the same information.

As for the 'classification' there really isn't one except that if it has the manual shooter and the balls are fed from a tray on the front it is condsidered a 'Vintage' machine. I suspect your machine falls into this category. They made this machines with essentially what ever 'center' piece they had at the time and what ever design was on the play cell they grabbed at assembly time.

We can guess an approciximate date by the stickers located on the machine. Look for two numbers in a line of Japanese characters on the stickers. The large one will be the date on the Showa calendar. Add 1925 to that number and then subtract 3 for the estimated manufactor date.

If the machine is having trouble, take some photos of where the problems occur and then post them with a description of the problem, I gurantee you'll have a quick resolution for your problem.

    Good luck and welcome aboard!
