Problem with UV1700 Sigma Video Poker

it worked perfect until I unplugged since I was away for a while. Now when I turn it on the video doesnt display. There are some error codes in the top CPU are a 31 and a couple others. I tried pressing the red reset button in side near the power supply.. Nothing. The lights all come up on the machine, but it doesnt seem to be Booting up. Is there something I can do to get it to boot up some other kind of reset. HELP ME

Now i am getting an FF error on the led in the cpu board area. Seems like the video monitor is not getting power to it. I checked cn7 to make sure it was hooked together tight, still nothing.

With PC's (not sure about video Poker), There is a battery on the motherboard. This battery is there to save the Bios/memory when the unit is unplugged from a power supply. If the Battery is dead, a PC (Namely DELL) won't boot up until the battery is replaced. I have seen many times this happening, and unfortunately, you don;t know the battery is dead until you unplug the power source because the board is still getting power from the wall.

Check to see if there is a board in there with a battery. In a PC, it is a nickel cadnium battery (2032) and is the size of a quarter.

Yes there are 2 quarter size batteries on the mb. I am wondering if they went dead maybe

replaced both batteries and left it unpplugged for 2 min.

Now I get an error code 31 or c6 on the led. And the top candle light is slowely flashing. Which in the manual means machine lock up.

should the reset key also turn left to reset or just right to the menu setttings which dont come up either...

World wide gaming came out and replaced the montior. and the mB and all is working great now. Thank god for warrenty's. Thanks to TTC for help troubleshooting the problems.

Ya im extattic that it works again..I play it every day. Nice to see video again. I had to realign the grid but that was in the setup. It has no coin mech in it yet so it wont take any coins only currency. I want to eventually add a coin mech to it.
