    Smile Neo Geo MVS project

well after slmost a year my projsct is finally coming together

I'vr been buying parts and MVS games when I've have extra money or found a great deal. I have 18 games now and 8 more coming in the mail.

the duplicates will be resold after I've tested them.

I bought the smaller MVS main board first, but actually the larger board is eaiser to work with because you can plug regular neo geo controllers into in.

I got the switching power supply and RGB to tv video boards this week.

and I have 2 controllers on their way from Japan in the mail.

pics of the games I have so far and a close up of the controller ports on the larger board.

basically all you have to do on this is mount the MVS board and everything else in something, hook up switching power supply, install an on off switch

run audio from side of board to tv.. run video from RGB converter to tv. plug in jamma adapter for video and power connections.

plug in 2 joysticks and a game and it should be ready to go

many of the same games for the home AES neo geo cartridge system run in the hundreds of dollars, this is the way to go

LD...That is so Cool. Is MVS the short name for Famicon?

Do you love playing the games? or are you more like the "tinkering" type of person I am.

Luckydog, looks like a Very Cool Project. I have a 2 Slot and 4 Slot at my store both need monitor work currently. I picked up an awsome MVS Multicart recently with about every game on it. I cant wait til I get one of my Machines back up and running to play it. Mike : )

I sniped these 7 game carts for under $44.00 shipped

the picture and description wasn't very good on the ad.

because of the masking tape i though maybe the cases were cracked or broken.

but they were just loaded with old dried up masking tape and a few labels are damaged.

wd40 and a lot of elbow grease cleaned then up nicely.

they did all have the orginal seals on the sides and the boards themselves are in excellent condition.

the mutant nation game is the best one and alone books for $40.00

Arcade PCBs - SNK Neo Geo - JAMMABOARDS.COM - JAMMA Coin-Op Arcade Game Parts - SNK Neo Geo PCBs and Carts

I my self have the xxxx-in-1 Killer version, There is a new version comming out in one month. Look at the bottom of this page and pick the KE version, also get the CPU P.4
Arcade PCBs - JAMMA PCBs - 1069-in-1 Games Family Multigame JAMMA System - JAMMABOARDS.COM - JAMMA Coin-Op Arcade Game Parts - 1069-in-1 Games Family Multigame JAMMA System

I belive this Jamma board is by far better than the Mame system. If you get this one now, all you have to do is when the new version comes out, all you have to do is order just the pre loaded hard drive and just switch them out. They do sell a splitter that you can run two or more systems in the same arcade.

I purchased one of those yellow MVS multi games from excellent.com. Only about 1/2 the games worked well. The other 1/2 were loaded with sound and graphical glitches. I spoke to excellent and they said the cart is only ment to be run on a single slot board and I have a 4 slot. buyer beware.

I won this one sunday price was 250.00 with free ems shipping. i offered 220.00 and they accepted

they offered free shipping on up to 20 cd video games so, i bought 6 different for 5.00 each.

    it all arrived this afternoon

I won the nam 75 cart for 9.99 and 6.00 shipping from a florida seller and that arrived today too

I didn't thimk i would like the arcade sticks, but its much easier to play with it sitting on your lap.

i have 2 more aes games coming nest week and 2 with the other system.
now you might ask yourself "why did he buy 2 AES systems???"

    Spoiler

    I'm a happy camper
