i picked this up today for $20.00 at goodwill.
an atari 5200 with trackball and games, this thing is huge
the console doesn't seem to work
i may try to sell it as is or break it up in parts.

yes,he did have a mouth like a sailor.maybe slightly worse.some of the sailors i knew weren't that bad.i never had a 5200,but if i did,i would have cussed far worse.i went straight from the 2600 to the nintendo.

I have an original Atari Pong system still in the box, and a 2600 with about 60 games. I never did own a 5200. I had a friend that had one, but I never did mess with it. After the Atari I think I went to Nintendo as well. I remember when Toys R Us was clearing the 2600 games out for $3 to $5 each.

I found a 2600 not too long ago at a thrift store and we've got tons of used games stores in town that sell the games for 99c, needless to say, i've got quite a collection.
However i have no atari controllers! But, after a quick google search I found out that the sega genesis controllers worked with the atari! And they work quite nicely, i'm still trying to get some authentic 2600 controllers though.

today's goodwill finds
2 still sealed generic laser toner refills for my HP1020 laser printer for 2.99 each
and what looks like a brand new d link wireless router for 4.99
i haven't tried the router yet.
they have an arcade cabinet game time duel" by capcom in 1988 for 20.00
it looks complete, even has keys, its sold as is and you can't plug it in
if i had a pickup truck it i would have bought it

whoops, its called last duel and the monitor has burn in on it
its the same as the picture in this link, but the screen benzel is missing
