Default 50s pachinko (with jackpot light?)

Vintage WOODEN OLD Style pachinko machine-LOCAL Pickup - eBay (item 300308212345 end time May-15-09 15:23:17 PDT)

The center piece looks like the Tokyo Tower. I can see what looks like wires in the back which may be connected to a light at the top of the tower.

It doesn't have a door or tulips, but it has some plastic parts, so I'm going to guess mid to late 50s. I can't tell the manufacturer (though the standing man icon seems familiar).

Thanks a lot for the temptation!!

The mechanics and ball path on the back look very similar to your Kobuki mask machine.

the brand is GINZA. I call this machine my ginza man machine. mine does have lights behind a transparent red plastic. nice, reliable mechanism once it's cleaned up. I added an empty tray light behind the clear ball window in the upper right.

there might be something missing in the middle part where the lights go, too.

    here's closeups of mine.

btw, I got one of these in my 10 for 200 sale if anyone wants one, i'll sell it for 25 plus shipping, to pachitalk peeps only

I sent an email off to the seller to request some better photos and ask if he knew why the machine did not work. Here is the response I received:

hey here ya go. As far why it doesn't work - NO idea. I bought it for $100, thinking my son could use it at school as a project, but it never got accepted. It has been sitting in my garage ever since.
    All the best
    Tim

Based on that response, I doubt he will drop the price much. But who knows... I may submit a lowball offer anyway. It looks like all of the parts are there, and I really do like the "Eiffel Tower" win pocket!!! I'm just not sure if that is a water stain under the cell around the center feature, or if it is dirt on top of the cell.

    Any guesses?

    Jeff

Does look like a stain, but at least the center is something very recognizable and complete.

I emailed the seller again and verified that the mark in the photo is indeed a water stain.

I will pass on this one.

Here's another one that would be cool with tons of LEDs going on it!
