All you need is a 6 X12 Uhaul trailer. And you can instantly store 60 machines. I was able to make it work no issues.

    100 machines and counting...

I'm still in the early stages of addiction. I just bought my 6th machine. I only have/am allowed, room for 5. The 6th is now clamped to a table in my Garage where my Slot car track is supposed to go. Anybody want to buy a Nishijin B in fair to good shape? Seattle area I'll deliver...

Later The newest machine is a OhumuraYuki all Tulip machine I know I know Pictures. Soon and in another thread Rockinator

One main difference between Alcoholics and Pachiholics.

Recovering Alcoholics have a desire to stop drinking.

    Recovering Pachiholics... do not exist.

step 4: just told my wife i now have 4 pachis - modding/restoring 2 at the same time. actually she was pleased but still no plans to buy more for the time being.

i'm jason and i bought an old vintage pachi in august to completely reconfigure, as an artwork, then during the teardown decided that i wanted to actually play one fully so shopped for and bought another. that one was damaged in shipping so it's been put aside for some future date. after a while bought a working powerflash to keep as-is. but now addicted to looking for parts and while doing so and bought another last week that may or may not be restored once i get the original project done. love my powerflash, btw.
meanwhile (career) art project requests are accumulating but all i want to do is tinker with pachinko mechanics to get that first one perfect.
the joy of a well cleaned mechanical part is a new high.

Too funny; I had forgotten about creating this thread over 12 years ago, yet it lives on. Since creating this thread, I bought some more, and just before I transferred from Nashville, TN to Indianapolis, I sold 13 all at once in a garage sale. I moved to Indiana in 2011 and I only brought an Arrangeball, a Powerflash, and the shell of a Nishijin B machine. Since I’ve been in Indiana, I sold the Arrangeball, but bought 2 more, I bought and sold 2 computer Pachinkos, bought and sold a pachislo (it didn’t excite me), and have bought and sold multiple other vintage, Hanemono, and modern machines. I currently have 2 arrangeballs, 2 Powerflashes, 3 Nishjin B’s, 2 Hanemonos, and 1 modern (which I just picked up yesterday, lol). Oh, and an upright pinball and upright bingo pinball projects in the garage. I’ve gotten to the point where most vintage designs bore me; unless it’s something special, I won’t buy it even if it’s only $10. The modern one that I picked up last night appears to work correctly, I got it and about 400 balls for $75. There are a few lightbulbs that seem to be out, but other than that, it’s good.
I'm not addicted to Pachinkos. I can quit at any time. Did I tell you about the three machines that I have on the way?

same thing here. bought a vintage and was very interested in them and added some cool ones like a few powerflashes and power roulettes but in the end, they get boring because the games never end. sold them all and hung on to my arrangeballs as they're so much more appealing. short game times, targets to shoot for with the added challenge of having limited balls to attain the objectives, and coin payouts.

I like having my variety of machines, one from each era I am interested in so I can discuss the evolution:
    pre-masamura gauge (30s, 40s)
single-shot machines, after tulips were invented (60s)
    classic powerflash (70s)
    modern (80s onward)

and then some of the variants: 2 arrangeballs, and a 10¥ skill machine that uses pachinko components.
    WANTED: 10¥ games, pre-1950s machines, スマートボール (Smart Ball), payazzo/kronespill, Pickwick-style (~1905)
if you have any of these in North America, let's talk.
