It is 49S-05 and the numbers on the expiration sticker are 50 and 12.

When I put the vinyl on to cover everything up, I am gonna leave that corner alone so the date stickers are still there

Well I took the plunge. The part I was most afraid to do. Putting on that big a** sticker.

It went on very well. and I was happy to see that you could tell where the nails go. You can't see through it but you can see the dents from the holes.

I cut the big holes out and poked the nail holes with a...nail.

Putting the rails back on was more of a chalange than I thought it would be.

Once I got the first big a** sticker on and didn't have too much trouble. I went for the other one. It went on easy too. And you can see where the nails go on through this one too.Cut out the big holes and start putting in nails!

I started to pound in the nails and realised "There is a lot of nails here!"I pound it in a little, Then check the depth with the tool I made (thanks Compirate!) and keep tapping untill it is perfect. Once it is in deep enough I use the same tool to bend the nail to line up with the others beside it.It is starting to look like a Pachinko machine!!!

I put on some of the playfield features also.I ran some balls down the pins I have in so far and they got stuck in a few places, I fixed that! Some advice for a newbe that wants to go this far with a machine, you must label every nail and screw that come off the machine. All the pins from the playfield are the same, but the other 10,000 little parts are a little diferent in size and materials. Anything that is not visable by the public is not brass. I had to rearange some nails because I put some smaller ones where bigger ones go and ran out of small ones at the end.I also had the back of the machine on and noticed that one of the covers needed screwed on from the other side. So take it off again and started over.I think Rusty mentioned that in another post of his.

This is an inspiration. I have about 10+ machines where the playfield is soo bad, cracked and pealing or other issues. I will definitely try and bring them back to life based on all the info you are sharing. Thanks again!

They will probably try to sue me!

I thought at one time, how much I could get out of it. But now I am too attached to it. This one won't even go into the game room, it will be somewhere I can see it every day. Like next to this "damn computer" as my wife puts it.

YouTube - Coke Pachinko Machine 1

I'll try the Youtube link thing again. Last time I had a little trouble with it.

I have the "Coke Machine" back togeather and working well. I still find a few tight areas between pins but I adjust them as I find them. I need to make the pieces for the spinners (The ones that are on there are my test ones on plain paper. I also need to finalise what the center will look like. and maybe sound like.

For the cabnet I want to do the "Can shape" with lights, I can see it in my head. But then I was looking at the machine and it looked like it needed put into an oversized wood bottle crate. I saw an old wood crate fot RC Cola at a garage sale and I thought of making one that said Coca Cola and big enough to fit the machine. I'm thinking more nastalgia than modern. (I can't deside!)

Lucky, that is exactly what was in my head. I love the look of the old crate. I also want to try the lightup sides.

I wish I were a kid again so someone would tell me what to do.

Then I could do the opposit and feel good about my decision

But NOOOO!!! It's all me! I have to make these hard life choices all by myself
