I saw a picture of someones Pachi that had all the "Works" taken off the back in one piece! So I looked around at mine and a few staples later naked pachi from the back.

Took the nails and tulups from the front and naked pachi from the front!

About two hours soak in pickeled pepper juice and then add a spoonfull of bakeing soda ( just for fizz) and two hours in the rock tumbler with cracked corn and POOF! naked pins!

This all seems very familiar! I'm anxious to see the results.

What other modifications will you build into the machine?

I looked for the bottle opener that had sound but the only one I saw said "Ahhhh"

I will try to find a toy that lets you record and playback yourown voice

I want to make the cabnet for this thing by putting an oblong oval board on top and bottom with a groove around the edge for a sheet of translucent plastic. If I can get the guys at work to print the logos on the translucent stuff. It will look like the signs in the drive through at McDonalds.

With that trans in place I can take a normal light fixture (from the basement remodel) and put in one of those twisted floresent bulbs.

For the playfield I am gonna use a sheet of white vinal sticker. Since my machine at work can only run a 14" sheet and only 13.5" of immage on that so I will use a big sheet to cover everything up and then print a 13" round logo for the middle.

I bought some red spray paint for the plastic trim and it looks good so far I'll have some pics of that below. Two pieces were dark blue and one was dark green and the big tray was dark brown.

When I need to put the pins back in, I made a nail bender/depth gague. Thank you Compirate for the great idea!.
It has a slot for the head of the nail so I can measure the depth very easily. and it bends them at the base easily with no scratching the nail or the playfield because I rounded the bottom so it is smooth.

I used my new nail tool to push down any bits of the laminate that the nails pulled up around the edge of the holes. That made the whole surface smooth and easy to clean.

Now I hope putting the darn nails back in will go that smooth.

Oh and one other thing......I saw this and had to use her, I had no reason but I like her.

I printed the background logo on paper just to see how it might look. Not too bad IMHO.

I put some of the parts on just for efect.

I have the big piece of vinyl to cover the whole background. It is even a blockout stuff so you shouldn't be able to see through it. It is "Super Permanant" so I only have one try to get it on good.
I will have to work up the courage to try it this weekend.

How will you keep track of where the nails go? It looks like the Coke emblem will cover the holes.

    Am I missing something?

I'm gonna use a piece of paper for a template. Poke holes in it and put it on top of logo and poke through again

Yes I did. It might not have been the best method but I was experimenting. I put tape on the hammer and tried to not put pressure on any one spot. I don't think it did any damage (dents or anything) The nails don't come out very smoothly though. I had to push the edges down that the nails pulled up around the holes, with the new vinyl it won't show.

I put four sheets of plastic sheeting that is trasnlusent and taped them in place so i could see the holes.

I printed some ideas for the spinners. A guy I work with said he has some bottle caps I can have, but I think the glass might be too close to do that. The ones I printed out look cool though

I haven't had much time to work on it lately(life gets in the way) but I hope to work on it this weekend. I hope the same thing is going on with SHOCK. I haven't seen anything new with his project lately either.

I am a great project starter and never seem to finish them. All I have to do on the coin pusher is attach the glass but I can't seem to get it done. It's not like i"ll run out of projects!!! I started working on a ball lifter idea, I don't need one but everyone talks about them so I thought it would be fun to toss my hat into the ring. It will be all clear!

    Oh yea! I forgot!
Look what I found at a garage sale. The lady said it was a colecters item and that it keeps coffie hot very well. I told her "not for long...I'm gonna cut a hole in the bottom of it and put my balls into it"

I think it will look good on top of the machine and be a good funnel to put the balls in.

HI! It looks great! I really like how the trays turned out. Some are very ugly combos so its nice to know they can look so good. The spinners look cool as well.

Say would you do me a favor and remove the ball tray latch and see what is in front of the 9S - 05? It should be a 4 as in 49S - 05.

Also if you could read what the tag above that says. It will be the only english characters on the center yellow coloured square in the form of ## 53 # 3 ### or something about like that. Those numbers are on my machine so yours will most likely be different. Some have no english characters but I think yours will.

I would really appreciate it as it will help with some questions asked here:

    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/vint...-stickers.html

My machine has the same cell and win/stop lights as yours so your info may help or at least confuse the issue more.

    Thanks
