today at Goodwill I found a bag of mostly older die cast toys for $4.99

when i saw a couple of red lins I knew it was a good deal.

its a nice mix with 3 red line cars,

lseney, buddy l, corgi, matchbox and hot wheels.

i'll be splitting them up in groups on ebay, the die cast mickey firetruck looks like a winner

it even had a Samson race car

wow. I still have all my hot wheels and other miniature cars. maybe I should sell them?

just imagine that some poor kid worked years to collect all those... I hope he/she parted with them willingly...

I don't know how you find that stuff Lucky. When I go to the Goodwill here I never see anything like what you find.

its hit and miss here, sometimes I'll go a week without finding anything, then something I know is good will come up

if I miss a day, I wonder what good deals I missed!!!

Is there a good time of day for you to go to the Goodwill store? Whenever I go there it seems like they are putting things out at all times of the day. Maybe you should get a job there Lucky, You could grab things as they come in.
I used to work somewhere when the GOOD stuff came in it was put aside and or shall I say marked accordingly for pick up.

I usually go arounf 1:30 in the afternoon, most stores put stuff out all day long.

people working it that store can't buy from it only from other goodwills.

of course if it really was something good, i guess they could call a friend or relitive to come buy it.

to the average worker there, these are just a bunch of played with toy cars.

i bought 3 bags for 4.99 each a few years ago and they had over 65 red lines and lots of old corgi, lesney and matchbox cars too. i split them up into lots and i think my profit on all was around $500.00

i already sold the 3 redlines from yesterday and one i had for $14.75

and i already listed the 5 i got today to close monday

saturday I got 7 pretty good nes games for 99 cents each and 50 45rpm records for 2 bucks all from 50's and 60's--- 6 were Elvis

a few days ago at the bargain barn i found a thomas the train lego set with track for 2.50

the last one i sold went for over 20 bucks

yesterday i got 2 gameboy SP systems for 14.99 each, both just needed to be charged up to work, i can get chargers on ebay from hong kong for 2.75 each shipped

today i got an older gameboy advance system, 3 gameboy games and dr mario 64 cartridge for the total price of $8.00

not a really big profit on these, but worthwhile selling

the older gameboy advance with one game sold for 19.75 already, i sold another one of the gameboy games for 3.99 and the dr mario 64 cartridge for 8.75

found snes super mario world cartridge today for 2.99, sold that already for 6.70

my small profit on shipping cost will cover some of my fees
