Default Beast Sapp middle reel humming?

i just started up my beast sapp and the middle reel is making a loud humming noise, so im going to take the reels apart, i think. could the motor be going? if i take the reels off is there a certain way to re-align them?

You can safely take them off. Just don't take the graphics off the wheel and you'll be fine. The computer will resync them.

When you get the wheel rack out, spray very little fine mist of machine oil or WD 40 in the stepper motor, that should quiet it down. It worked on a couple other machines i had. LIGHTY Remember
