    Default Token counting

    Hey All!!
I was wondering if there is a way to count tokens in a full hopper easily?
Can you get a count on the number of tokens despenced..... say when you do a manual hopper dump with the switch on the power supply??
counting tokens is very time consuming by hand.
    Any thoughts??

Get a postage or other accurate type scale and find an average weight for your tokens (I have some that weight 5.25 grams and some that weigh in at 5.5 grams and I keep them seperate.) Then just weigh them... I get within a token or two no matter how many I count which is close enough for me.

Look on eBay for Scales USA. They have a counting scale for $79.95. I use it. Works great. You put the empty container on it, press "tare", press count, put in 20 tokens, press count again. Now it's all set. You just dump a bunch of tokens in the container and it gives you a count. You just neet to set it up once and it saves the info (until the power fails).

    A scale will work!!
I was hoping since it counts the tokens dispensed when paying out say 15 or 50 there might be a trick to get it to count for you...
    Thanks!

If you have the Super Autostop Mod Chip installed on your machine. Load the machine with 50 credits hit the cash out button and you will get 50 tokens in the bottom tray.

That's really a good idea. If you had a junk machine (or something cheap, like those $49 Hanabi pachislos that Syscom used to sell) you could use that mod chip to turn it into a token dispenser. There's got to be a simple way to automate the whole thing so you can just press one button and automatically adds the credits and then close the cancel switch.

You could even change the artwork to cover up the reels and make it look like an ATM. :-)

or the long way, stick in 53 coins and hit payout and you know you have 53 in the tray, keep doing this till you have the amount you need.
