I don't think there on this machine. Are the pins on the cabinet or the hopper?

some macines don't have them, if yours does it would be 2 metal prongs on the inside back of your pachislo next to the hopper.

i would try pulling evey connection you can find and reseating them.

don't just press or pull on them to check, actually disconnect them

There are no prongs on this machine. All the cables have been removed then connected again. I'm thinking there's a problem with the motherboard.

im thinking your voltages are crazy at you power supply.
on the top of your pwr supply frt to rear the plugs are:
    1. 2 pin going to reels
    2. hopper
    3. main feed to machine
    4. 2 pin going to overflow sensor
    5. 24vac to pwr sup.

With everything disconnected but the main feed (but with all cables disconnected from the motherboard) I get 35v on the first 2 pin socket.

But when I start connecting cables to the motherboard the voltage rises, when all cables are connected I get 60v dc.

There is no overflow sensor fitted.

disconnect everything from the motherboard but the feed from the power supply. it looks like some of the voltages just pass through the board and head for the door. (Possible stuck switch)

When every thing but the main feed is connected I get 35v. Which sounds correct.

I think the switches are ok as when the buttons are pressed the LEDS on the inside ether light or turn out so the should be working.

I've removed the motherboard and it looks like diode D1 has got a bit hot, the board is discolored around it. I need to lift the diode so I can check it.

try plugging in the other harnesses one at a time and see which one causes the voltage to jump. follow it out and see where it leads

I think it's a bust. One of the op amps have just blown on the top reel board. I think it's used to position one of the reels.

Maybe the input voltage to that board is too high. Is a bit hard to know what's going on without a circuit diagram.
