    Default Arepachi question

One of the Arepachi i rescued from west Sacramento opperates a little strange?? looking for help??? please help..

the machine seems to opperate great all the lights and pays right with one exception...

every time a coin in put in it pays two coins.. win lose anything it pays two coins

is there a way to adjust this?? its a neetarepachi glory ball.jpg machine but seems odd for it to pay so much... is this normal?? the jan ball pays allot probably close to 170% to 180%... but this one pays way over 200% and probably closer to 300%... this isn't gambling it's giving away money..

    are all Arepachi like this??

My Arepachi (a Tayio Electron) has a solenoid in the top center pocket that sets the payout to double—a 2 lights up in the upper left corner. Check to see if you have something like that and if it is stuck open, or the contact is not connecting, or there is a short in the wiring.

That's an awesome Arepachi! I just love how the pockets are scattered all over instead of in the usual row at the bottom.

I had a similar problem on my Electron . It turned out to be a burned trace on the Solenoid Generator board. You can find the thread here Taiyo Electron Has Arrived

Whoops, I meant switch when I wrote solenoid. I don't have photos from when I took it apart, but I think Eddie's suggestion is better, considering your machine is paying out no matter what happens. That's more likely to be a logic board problem than wiring.

    Mopar,

My most recent trips to the casinos have not ended well for me. Simply, when it comes to gambling, I am down on my luck. If I could come play your machine for a couple of days, maybe I'll get my touch back. Please make sure it's loaded with payoff.

    Thanks much.

I'm not addicted to Pachinkos. I can quit at any time. Did I tell you about the three machines that I have on the way?

If you have a DMM use that to test for continuity across the boards tracings as a first step.

Check for loose solder joints or pins at the connectors which may need to be resoldered!

Make sure Everything is clean and tight and that the feeler contacts are are aligned etc.

By the way I really like that machine!

on my machine all 3 boards are stacked together with hard wire plugs.. i popped them apart and looked at them.. there are two spots where the "trace" were intentionally cut threw?? then jumpers were soldered to fix one of the cuts.. the other has a jumper that jump across the board to another point??

beats me?? im no sparky thats for sure..

all i know is when i pushed the boards back together reinstalled them it works now??

ill keep an eye on it and if it happens again ill know its a loose connection somewhere

    thanks for the insite Eddie

Great news ! Would like to see photos of the insides of the machine with closeups of your boards.
