Need reset key for Taiyo "Twin Surfer" or...

Stupid story short - got my first pachislo (yay!), finally hit my first BB (double yay!) and then I remembered reading on here about needing to reset the machine after the bonus, or when the hopper jams (which is what happened to me - stupid penny, how did you get in there?)

No keys came with the machine.. makes me wonder if the previous owner ever played it long enough to get a BB!


Any advice on online retailers for a Taiyo reset key? Or a way that I might be able to pick the lock myself? Any suggestions gladly accepted..

If you can get the door open, somewhere on the inside of the door, left side around where the lock is there should be a snap switch or optical interrupt. This is the reset switch.

This is officially the best forum in the world - thank you so much! I never would have thought that little thing was an optical switch... the Taiyo's don't seem to be as popular as other machine manufacturers (at least here in the states) so there is not as much info. I'm back up and running in no time! Yeah!

you might want to replace the key switch on the power supply with a regular switch if you do not have a key. this switch is used for a full reset and to change the odds.
