I would have to say it is more jealous than vicious. If it was Dallas, my brother lives there. And how can we let those Pachis not go to good homes? I guess that's how I ended up adopting children too!!

Oh... I'm watching them! and the other ads here in Houston. This is certainly a quandry for me.

As you've seen in another post, my most recent project has been my daughters car (we fixed the A/C, truck electric poper, fender dient, etc.). Now we've found that a leak in our home that has caused us to pull up the flooring in a small powder room, the utility room, the dining room and the kitchen. This old boy is worn out.

However, I've also spoken with an 'Asian Antique/Decorator' shop that might take a machine in for consignment. Thus, I might be able to swing buying a few to restore and then selling for a small profit. If I can make this work, I'll be moving the machines shortly.

However, if any of you are close, then you should make an offer and get them. The two for $50 looks to be in great shape.

Thanks for all the assistance on pointing out the 'deals'!

sorry to hear that you're having so much home maintenance to do. I sympathize, as I've been planning a laundry room remodel (before the water heater blows up or the old galvanized leaks anymore), and installing a used washer/dryer, and doing some lock replacements (deadbolts can be so frustrating sometimes).

really distracts from the pachinko work, and almost makes shining cells and pins a pleasure

if you find somewhere to sell the pachinko's at a profit, then you'll have a great outlet for your work.

i'm thinking of selling "rescued pachinkos" locally for $100. seems that I keep finding "great deals". just low balled another single shot, just like the one I gave my mother in law, and I got it for $25... go figure. guess what lots of my friends and relatives are getting for bdays and Xmas this year?

That's the reason I haven't cleaned up any of my machines so I can definitely sympathize. I have been remodeling the house we moved into in November since we moved in and I'm still not finished. Actually I kinda wish something would ruin my floors so I could get rid of the horrible tile.

I guess Pachi Rescue could kinda be like the Geek Squad!

that's what I love about all you guys. the hands-on, fix it yourself attitude.

heck, i'd take a bunch of pachitalkers on a deserted island anyday. we'd probably have running hot water and internet by the end of 2 weeks!

the mechanical nature of the pachinko's is what I think is so attractive and why we can sit and chat about our machines for hours... thank god we have a bunch of like-minded people to talk to

My wife is also "thrilled" that I have found some like-minded people to converse with regarding Pachinkos. She is a strong and patient woman, but I could tell she was reaching her threshold about the time I stumbled onto this site.
