I feel like the hunter coming home with the kill for my Pachi-Talk Family.

I rescued this machine from a house in Alameda. I had to do it... even though i promised myself that 5 was the limit. (I'll just put one in the closet! No-one has to know!)

I havent checked the date codes yet, but it is a extremely clean Sanyo Bussan -- Comet II?

I dont know much about sanyo's, but this one seems to have some cool features. I had to remove 3 balls from the "Pass Through Tulip" that is directly under the center jackpot and do a little tweaking so that it works again.
The ball passes through the tulip, and out the bottom of it... and into the tulup below it.

Very interesting machine, and very difficult.

So what is the story with a Sanyo Bussan? From the back, It looks like your average comet ii to me... except it is VERY easy to disassemble.

Can anyone explain to me the differences in Sanyo Models?

This one is a Bussan, but the guts say Comet II.

How many basic variations are the for sanyo vintage machines?

I was just looking around the house, and i realized that i have 2 Pachi's and a Pachislo hiding in the closet. I'm starting to feel like a real addict... :LOL:

great machine. I just saw it in person, and it's even better than the pix.

the robot center is beautiful, and in mint condition. far better than my three oceans with the flaking face. but has to be the same exact vintage for the rest of the face. wiring's the same as on other comets, so not too hard.

definitely a major pachi rescue. good thing you found it.

i'm in salinas, unpacked now, can hardly wait to start the "princes" that johnnynormal traded me sorely tempted but trying not to get started now, or else I'll be awake all night... but that's OK, I work nights, too.
