quicky review of Gaku's cool pachicounter. I will definitely be using this on the star wars machine, probably with one of daverob's emulator dongles.

I think it was just under $150 shipped. you can PM gaku for details. he responds quickly and shipped quickly.

as an FYI, the sensor is a "shiny object" sensor, so there is an IR output and a receiver that picks up when a shiny pachi ball moves past it and reflect the IR (I think that pachislo tokens will work, too)

The object doesn't need to be shiny for the sensor to pick it up, they sense anything that moves past them. Yes, they will count tokens too. I have three of them on cyclic pachinkos and they work very well. I modify the payout motor assemblies to get the correct counts on payout

hey musky. i'm just quoting the sensor listing. maybe it's any reflective object to infrared. good to hear it works on pachislo's too.

why doesn't gaku have these on the auction all the time? they're well worth it, IMHO. :
