    Default Ball Lifter

I have just purchased a ball lifter straight from Japan, but have no idea how to turn it on. Plugged it in and its not working have looked for a switch and cant find one. Its the orange model. Not sure what to do now?

did you get the top ball tray switch with it ? If so make sure that the top ball hopper switch is not sticking or jammed .

Yeah it is one of those and i checked and it doesnt appear jammed.
Its quite grubby and looks quite old too.
When i took it out of the box the actual plug with some of the cord attached to it was seperated with the machine. Where it should of been connected i could see some old electrical tape so i put the cords together and got some sticky tape and taped it up. Dont know if that has anything to do with it but just really angry. I bought it through Japanese Yahoo Auctions so dont really know what to do now. Any help or advice in fixing it would be greatly appreciated guys!

Sorry to hear that you are having problems.

Can you post some pics of the lifter and the wiring you are talking about? It would be a Big help in trying to get it up and running for you.

There's a switch in the bottom rail of the lifter (the one that feeds the toothed wheel) that turns the lifter on when there are balls in it. The paddle switch goes in the upper hopper and turns the lifter off when pushed down. If you plug the unit in and push down on the rail switch with your finger it should turn on.

These are 100-120v units by the way.

In short, put balls in it and see if it does anything!

    No -

In short. Plug it in. Close the paddle switch, and close the rail switch, and the motor will come on.

To be clearer, the paddle is "closed" when it is up, the rail is "closed" when it is down.

hey compirate. the lifter works fine. I just tried it out.

tomorrow, i'll videotape my current crazy idea from the scrap pile for the lift tube... just wait, you'll never guess what I found to use... and for free, of course.

sakwilla - did you both push DOWN on the lever inside the bottom of the orange box AND make sure the paddle lever is UP. one is normally open, one is normally closed. I hooked it directly to my wall AC. it's not too much more than 110AC.

let us know if yours is still not working. maybe my video tomorrow will help you.
