Default Lord of the rings gameplay

    Hi,

i'm new at this forum. So let me 1th introduce me.
I'm a collector of gambling machines.

    Coin pusher.jpg
I started with a dutch coin pusher. This machines you find in europe
often at carnivals. My star wars coin pusher is unique. I'm restoring an
old coin pusher from the 70th and decorate it with star wars machines
and more lights as it original has had.
    Coin pusher lights.jpg

I also have a german slot machine.
    German slot.jpg

And I have a Lord of the rings pachinko.
For this pachinko I have some questions.
    Pachinko.jpg

1th at the left side (black arrow) there are rings that can be activated with
the goal at the left side. But what will I get if all 4 circles are activated?

2nd on the right side (blue arrow) are an bigger ring and an X. How can
they be activated? And what will I get if one is activated?

3rd Has anybody a technical manual or a special game play manual for
the lord of the rings pachinko?

Nice Looking Machines You Got There.

Any Play Guides that are on hand will more than likely be in Japanese.

In a few more posts the Research Center will open up to you. You can also use the "Search" Function at the top of the page to look for subjects that intrest you. In the mean Time.

    Welcome!!

I want your Star Wars coin pusher!

    As for your questions:

    1) This is probably your banked spin count. Light 4 and that means you have 4 reel spins saved up. If you get anymore into the Start pocket when you have 4 banked, they just payout and don't spin. In other words, you can only have so many saved up at a time.

    2) I forget the exact term for this because I rarely use it while playing. But it is related to when the start pocket tulips open ever so briefly during regular gameplay. You'll see them flick open if you're lucky. There should be another pocket somewhere which detects when a ball goes through which affects the X/O.

    3) Someone might have one, but generally people just play to figure it out. For Lord of the Rings, the bottom line is still to get balls into the start pocket, spin the reels and get a match.

When a ball passes through the "Go" channel on the left, it will activate one of the four LED rings on the left. You will then have started a roulette. You will notice the X and O start flashing back and fourth. If the flashing stops on an X, then nothing happens with the flippers. if it stops on the O, then the flippers will open for about 1-1/2 seconds.
You can bank up to four Roullettes during play. LOTR is the only game I have that you can actually get to see the flippers open.
If you pass a ball through four times, and don;t play the machine, you will hear the flipper activate.

Thanks for the help. Now I know the function of this lights.
    And thanks for the welcome.

Yes Star Wars is cool. But I also like Lord of the rings.
So this pachinko was my 2nd choise. The Star Wars pachinko was too
expensive as only one model was sold at europe. And from the lord of
the rings pachinko there are more models in stock, so not so expensive.

If more user like my Star Wars coin pusher I can make a new topic for it.

I still haven't found out how to activate other lights.
At the top there are two white lights. If I get a fever the right white light
goes on when I get change time. I also won while change time and get
another fewer. The right white light was still on, but not the left one.
So when will the left white light be activated?

There is also a red light at the left corner near the ash tray. That activate
sometimes at start up, but goes off. What is the meaning of this light?

And have the two yellow buttons at the ball shooter tray realy no function?
That was the information I get from the pachinko seller. He means it was
original to bell service personal at a pachinko hall.

I also have a problem (maby not and it's normal).
While playing sometimes the pachinko goes off. The start up checking
routine starts. After switching on the device a message in japanese
came on screen. Then all workes fine again. I have it had twice; i think
    allways while change time.
So is it normal or could it be a problem and which one?

The small light at the top of the ashtray is to test the lights on the pachinko. After turning on the machine, It will be lit. Press it and you will see the lights on the frame go around. It is at this time you can see if there are any burnt out bulbs. Once you play the machine and get a spin, this feature will be disabled.
As for the pachinko "going off" and seeing the rom check...this happens with mine also. the machine is just cold. You can still play the machine, and it will keep track of spins and still pay out. After a few minutes of warming up, my machine no longer does this. This is common in the modern pachinkos.

The two white lights at the top of the cell on each side (shaped like a triangle) are... LEFT = win light, RIGHT = Hopper empty light.
Every time you win balls, the left light will illuminate. If the hopper is empty, the right light will iluminate.
    Enjoy Your machine!!!

check your transformer and see if its getting too hot, that may be the cause of it shutting down.

    p.s. don't burn your fingers

Thanks again for the usefull informations.

I check with the button near the ash tray and it seems that the left white light at the top
    has no function.

When the lord of the rings pachinko is in change time mode must be both lights on?

So now I must figure out how to change the light.

For the Modern Pachinkos to work they need a transformer that has an output of 24 v ac and at least 6 amperes for proper play and if you can get a ups or battery back up that has a power line smoother so that the electonics don't get fried .
When things don't go right the 1st time , Step back ,Take a break and come back renewed. RGS
