    The biggest problem I see is making a coil like that. I like the idea though. Perhaps if the coil was inside a square tube with balls being fed to the corners. The corner would keep the ball in place horizontally as the coil moved it vertically. The coil then ends flush with the bottom of a slightly tilted box with a ramp opening. That way, it would safely lift 4 times the balls. All this in clear plexi at the end of the aisle would be entertaining too!

    The notched wheel pushing up a tube is still the simplest, cheapest way to go.


    And forgot to say, your 3D skills are top notch!
