Help Resetting my Kitac Green Juggler Girl

I am so frustrated. I have always wanted a machine since I was in Okinawa years ago. My mother in law purchased one for me but it was at a flea market with no manual. The instructions she received were inaccurate or she doesn't remember them. On the power box inside there is a green on/off switch, a on/off key switch below that, and two slide switches below that in Kanji. On the inside of the door is a white button that changes numbers when the key switch is turned. I have tried many combinations but cannot get it going. I will post pictures if needed.

turn the key switch on, press button to number setting wanted, press joystick down a few times then turn key switch off, leave the machine on during this whole process.

I just tried that and I am able to change the skill level settings with the white button behind the screen. When I turn the reset key back nothing happens and the "insert medals" dosen't light up.

did you hold down the spin knob for at least 5 seconds ??

are you pressing the joystick or start lever down to set in the number after you select it???

Here is what I am doing.
1. Reset is set to OFF
2. Turn Power OFF
3. Wait 15 seconds
4. Turn Reset to ON
5. Turn Power ON
6. Push White Level select to a number
7. Hold down Lever for 5 seconds
8. Turn reset to OFF
9. Close Machine

It is still not functioning. The lights are out and it seems "Stuck" in level select mode.

First unplug your machine & then plug it back in, then follow these steps.

Step 1: Open the door to your machine
Step 2: Insert the "reset key" & turn to the right
Step 3: Flip the power switch to the "On" position
Step 4: Hold down the "joystick/lever" for a minimal 5 seconds
Step 5: Turn the "reset key" back & remove
Step 6: Close the front door & remove key
Step 7: Insert 3 tokens
Step 8: Press "joystick/lever" (reels should now function)
Step 9: Press "reel stop buttons" (one at a time)
Step 10: Repeat steps 7-9 untill boredom sets in or tokens run out.

In order to change the skill level of your machine complete steps 1-3
Then press skill level button till desired level & resume steps 4-10

Thanks. I have tried that. It is acting like it is stuck in "Program Mode" The coins cycle to the tray and the lights are out. Any ideas?

Check all your connections, make sure there are no "unseated" connectors.
Other than that, maybe just try unplugging it for 15-30 minutes then switch it on without trying the reset procedure.


Have you tried pushing the "max bet" button, or the reel start lever "before" you insert the reset key?

BTW... walkthru's are much easier in the shoutbox

I have checked all connections and tried for about 6 hours to get it right. I think that I am not pushing the right buttons or combo from to "initiate" the level I set since it seems like it will not get past that

If you can, post a picture of your "odds" button and the program key area. Maybe with a photo's we can get it working!

It appears every step your following is correct and your reset switch is normal.

Did you leave the machine unplugged for a day to try and reset it?

I don't tap lever 3 times. I hold down for 5 seconds. That's how I was taught.

i have found on a few of my machine that i must flip the reset key a few times after the machine is powered back up at the end of the reset cycle. ie: once you go through t he whole process and it still doesn't work, try flipping the reset key on and off while it is still powered up.

I have tried all of the suggestions so far and I am at a complete loss here. I have checked what connections I can and have tried multiple combos to reset it to get it to reset. I have attached videos and will do more if needed.

If you have not done this do the reset procedure again but instead of tapping the spin know 3 times hold it down for 5 seconds, release it then turn the key back and see what happens. Also after you do this turn the door key to the left and then back to center.

I tried the turning the door key and nothing. I am considering getting rid of the machine if I can't get it going. It has been almost a month of trying to getting it to work.
