    Default Slot-Pachinko 007 machine

I received my 007 machine today from Slot-Pachinko, it was packaged very well with lots of foam, no complaints there.

It certainty not the cleanest frame I've seen. My Rocky machine that I think came from Imatrix in Canada was spotless. This one defiantly not from a no-smoking parlour. Some nice yellow tar and a pretty gross handle. I got to work with some windex which helped a little. Has anyone got any tips on removing staining? I guess it being a white frame doesn't help. Plus a bit of charring where someone missed the ash tray.

The ebay listing didn't state it was from a cigarette free home though and I didn't ask.

Also I found 12 blown bulbs on the frame. I've emailed Slot-Pachinko so hopefully they will send me some replacement bulbs.

Apart from that it works great. It is silly loud though. I thought the volume switch was quiet, medium and loud. This one seems to be loud, loud and more loud.

do you have some special way to check if some light are blown? it's not always easy to know where the light are located in the frame..

I don't have a 007 machine, but on all my other machines, there is a button that allows me to activate all the lights to see if they are working. On a Victory frame (LOTR) it's a small button on the front of the machine on the left. with the Lumina Frames (Star Wars, Indy, 007) it's the chance button. This has to be done only at the time the machine is turned on and not played. Once you play it and get the reels spinning, this feature will not be available. Put some tape over the light that isn't working, that way you can go right to it after you unplug the machine.

dont hold the chance button when you turn the machine on with 007 or you will end up in a menu you dont want turn the machine on and then press chance that will cycle the light test on the frame

Slot-Pachinko are sending the bulbs on Monday. L-pads have been ordered for the new cabinet. It is silly loud.

Got to work on the frame with a Mr Clean Magic Sponge, it's come up good. Striped the handle down and soaked in bleach to try and get rid of the tobacco staining, it's helped a bit but still not totally gone.

They sent the bulbs with no charge. In the listing they said the machine had been cleaned and all bulbs checked. Which clearly it hadn't.

I've noticed in the pamphlet that came with the machine they say they don't send keys with the machines in case you go to Japan and open up a machine in a parlour. How likely is that? Luckily the key that came with my Rocky machine also fit this one.

i read that about the keys too.they said they could send me a key if i requested one,so i did.i seriously doubt one key would open all the pachi's in japan.those keys are easy to get here in the u.s.,which would mean they are probably a dime a dozen in japan.imagine every pachinko player in japan having a key and taking balls from the machine and play without paying.i would think each individual parlor would have a different key.

If the doors are opened alarms go off, your battle counter starts flashing, a light at the end of the aisle lights up and something at the security desk lights up so even if I did have a key, I'd be afraid to take it out of my pocket!

Don't believe everything you read at slot-pachinko, the key thing or the 'rare, only made 500' thing. Considering licensing fees and manufacturing costs, how could it be worth it to make only 500? And isn't it interesting how every single pachinko ever made comes from the famous Ginza strip? That place must be packed! 16,000 parlors with over 3 million games? And how many times have you seen "2008/9 technology!" for machines designed in 2006/7 (007 -"It is a 2008 machine" - introduced 4/07). Look at their Eva 3 "3rd and final Pachinko Pinball machine in the Evangelion series", we're already on the 5th incarnation. The last people I'd believe for about anything pachi.

Sure you can, but mine will be free play anyway, so no point. Besides, you don't think I have enough extra locks laying around that I can re-key at least 18 as replacements for the units installed?

Now to spend a few $ at the dollar store for prizes!
