    Default Different Size Pachinko Balls?

I was taking a close look at an off brand of Vintage Panchink. Its a Maruadi New Prince Single Shot.

I can not get the tulips to open and close properly. When they are closed, and you drop a ball in, the ball falls through properly, and the tulip opens.

But when the tulip is open, the balll drops into the tulip and gets stuck infront of the metal tongue (that it would normally roll down, and through the tulip).

The only way that i can see for the ball to NOT fall down infront of the tongue, is if the ball were a little larger than the average pachinko ball.

Has anyone ever heard of a larger (maybe 12mm ball?)
Or maybe its a US measurement? This machine has a patent number on it. Maybe US patent?

    I am stumped...

    hey there.

the ball IS supposed to fall in front of the tongue. that's how it gets RESET:

the ball rolls UNDER the tongue, pushing the bases of the tulips to rock them CLOSED, then the ball falls out in the back until the next ball tips the brass arm in the back to let them fall OPEN them again

it's a very cool design. I must have spent a couple hours pondering this before I finally tore one apart to see how it worked.

I really still think that we can get both of those machines going - one for me and one for you. maybe next weekend?

i think that both these machines are alll you!

Fixing two would be way too much work... I would love to see just one of these dinosaurs up and running... The other one looks like it is made to be spare parts...

I see a flipper spring... and a tulip... So much to do, so little time.
