we had a girl in high school who's name was Candy Balls

and a buddy of mine in the army was named John Dear. wall lockers and footlocker were labeled last name first, so his said Dear John.

and we all called each other by our last names, so we all called him dear
we got some strange looks calling him dear when we were out in public in our civies
