    Default slotsdirect.com

Anyone have any good or bad experiences with slotsdirect.com (aka Mitchell Enterprises).

I was looking at their site tonight and, on the "why buy from us" page, they list some links so you can look at all their great feedback on eBay. But, when you click on the link eBay gives you a message that the ID isn't valid.

So, obviously, I am wondering if they got kicked off eBay for something, or maybe they just changed their ID.

Anyone have any info on this?

So far I'm pretty impressed with them. I order the Net Debut from their website at about 11pm on Tuesday night, so they actually received the order on Wednesday. Today is Friday and the machine is here.

They obviously shipped in Wednesday, same day they received the order. The FedEx tracking info showed it should arrive here on Monday. So FedEx gets some of the credit, getting it to me a day early.

BTW, this Debut (the Net machine, not to be confused with the Ric Debut pachislo.com currently has on their site) is just as much fun as Zcore13 said it was in his recent auction. Haven't hit a bonus yet, but the machine is worth having just for it's sounds, the 7-line pay, and the feature lights around the reel area. I've got a feeling that this one will make it on to my top 10 list.

I should also point out that SlotsDirect is the first vendor I've purchased from that packed airbags INSIDE the machine. They had one in the hopper so it couldn't move up, one to the right of the hopper so it couldn't move sideways, and one above the reels so they couldn't move up.

I was impressed that they thought to do this.

I not only do that on the machines I sent out, I also pack around the wheel cage and any open space inside the machine. This makes it a solid block to stop vibbration or tumbling knocking anything loose.
Because we know most inside parts just snap into plastic tabs, plastic will break. And that 3" of dead air space around the machine in the shipping box, I pack with anti-static peanuts.
THe safer I pack it, the safer it gets to the customor, my goal.

Made another purchase from slotsdirect this past weekend. They have the Terminator (the Arnold version, not the new one) for $279. That seemed like a REALLY good price, considering what they've been going for on eBay lately.

Since they are in PA (2 days by UPS) and I had such good luck with them last time, I expected I'd have the machine by now. But I just got the tracking number. And while it was shipped quickly, it's coming from Stockton California. So, I won't see it until next week. Not a big problem, I have other machines to play. :-)

So, what vendor is in Stockton that might be drop shipping this for them? They must have more Terminators since slotsdirect still has it up on their website.

Though slotsdirect is in PA, I don't think they actually have a warehouse. I am an easy 15-20 minuter ride from their "office". I contacted them to tour their facilities and about possibly buying wholesale from them. Their response is that their warehouse is in Kansas. I asked if I could tour theier Kansas warehouse and they said that was not possible. Ok, why would you have a warehouse in Kansas and your office in PA, it's not like they are a Fortune 500 company? Anyway, now that you say that your package is coming from CA, this just validates my first impression...they don't have a warehouse, they just drop ship from different vendors. But on your end, if the price is right, they shipping is good, and the product is satisfactory, then it's good for you! :-)

I would just rather they were truthful though, it doesn't say much for their character and/or integrity? :-(

Yes, it could be them. The only strange part it that Valleygaming usually ships by FedEX and this one is coming by UPS. Unusual, but not impossible. I guess I'll know when the machine gets here. I should be able to recognize Valleygaming's packing (which is among the best I've seen, BTW).

Just got an email from Valley Gaming. They heard about this thread and took the time to email me. They say they are not the drop shipper on that Terminator from slotsdirect. They suggest it might be Square One.

They did say that someone emailed them about the thread. But, in any case, I wouldn't be concerned at all about them being here. If I was a vendor I'd certainly be here looking around. And, I might even register with a user ID that no one would connect with my business, just to keep a low profile.

    gwarzin,

When do you expect to receive the Terminator from slotsdirect.com?

Please let me know how the machine turn out. I'm interested in a Terminator also. That's really a great price.

    Thanks,

    dodc2
