The POTC is the nicer looking of the two but the Marvel Super Heros has the upgrades.

My MSH just arrived but its still in the unopened box I HAVE NO WHERE TO PUT IT!!!

Both the newer potc (like in the vid above) and the newer Marvel have the upgrades!!

But pretty much all 4 are the same game..looks like they even kept the same sounds from the older ones!!

I do wish mine had the lights!!

Did you get your pinball setup yet?
I am thinking about getting one before they sell out and I am dying to hear your thoughts about it.

First before I unveil the video I have to say this machine is nicer then I imagined! I ended up getting the newer upgraded model, with the backglass illuminated and the stickers on the ramps! The theme is awesome you need to defeat the villians, by using your powers. The gameplay is smooth for a 99 dollar pinball. Seems very sturdy, and solid. The flippers are crisp and clean, the bumbers and solenoids seem strong. The LED readout is a bit small to read but it does the job. The install took about 20 minutes and was a breeze as you will see. Had the game up and running in 20 minutes. The ramps are a bit tricky but not too difficult. I need to school my daughter in the ways of the silverball. I will post a follow up video of me the wizard of pinball showing off how to play the game. My camcorder seems to need a new battery doesnt hold a charge for very long. There are 16 small screws for all 4 legs and 2 larger screws for the backboard. The attract mode is kinda cool, it talks to you when the game is not in play! I switched it to classic mode by pressing start while holding the right flipper in. Gives you 5 balls and more pinball sounds. Also if you press start twice you get 2 player game. it stands about 4/12 feet high just enough for an adult to play it comfortably. But kids it is just perfect size for. My daughter can't quit playing it. So without further ado here is the video you all (LD) have been waiting for. Go and get you one you won't be disapointed. It is everything the reviews say plus some!

The new mods look great, wish mine had them..but I still like mine even without them!!

One thing I didn't mention in any of my earlier posts was you can even win up to 2 extra ball during play!! They really made these well for the price!!

not marvel heros, but i picked one like this up at goodwill bargain barn for $1.00 today.

old century pinball golf made in 2003 to look old

12 inches by 25 inches with tongue and groove corners on wooden frame.

a pachinko ball is too small i'll have to look around for some marbles

Well, I screwed up!!!
I was going to buy the pinball last night, but I did not do it.
Today, I went to the Target website to get it ...NO LONGER AVAILABLE

I was able to get one from Ebay for the same price with shipping that Target had them for.
They were asking $149.99 BIN, and I offered $100.00 and they accepted.

Marvel Heroes pinball arrived today!
It has some slight damage from I don't know what.
When I opened the box, it had the plastic over the playfield glass(plexy actually) and on the plastic it had written in marker "damage"
I will post some pictures later.
The damage is a part of the playfield that was somehow pushed up and cracked slightly.
It is in the area of the 5 villians lights just above the flippers.
I don't see how this could have happened, the bottom of the machine does not have any damage.
It really does not affect gameplay too much, the ball direction does alter slightly when it goes over it though.
I am not sure that the seller knew about this, they did not state anything about it in the auction and the box did not look like it had been opened previously, but who knows?
I am going to question them about this and ask them what we can do about it.

It is a pretty solid, sturdy game overall, the gameplay is not the greatest but I did not expect it to be.
It is perfect for the small space that I have left to put any machines and as I am not going to be able to spend $1000-3000 on a real pinball anytime soon, it will do.
I would give it a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10.
