It is hard to tell that the crack is raised in the picture though.

Was it actually NIB? not opened? Or was it one that was slightly used and repackaged? If it was NIB I bet your buddy's from UPS damaged it in shipping. Sorry to hear that. I still love mine, and I just received my POTC from ebay and will be putting it together this weekend. It is not a NIB, so I am hoping it is in good shape.

I don't know.
I asked the seller before I bought it and they said it was NIB.
I emailed them after I saw the damage and the writing on the plastic, if they had opened the box.
No response yet.
I don't see how that kind of damage could have happened from UPS, the bottom of the machine is perfect, not a mark on it.
It would have had to push up through the bottom and into the playfield.
For that matter, I don't how it could have happened at all unless the bottom was replaced.

Update on my Marvel Heroes pinball.
The seller got back to me today and they gave me a $35 partial refund for the damage, which they claim to not have known about.
I asked them for $25 and they gave me more, so I can live with that.
The game still works just fine.

it arrived double boxed and safely except for one prong broke off the power cord. I had to cut one off of an old extension cord to replace it

its sitting on the POC box for now, i haven't put the legs on, there is a scratch on the backglass, but, that was mentioned in the ad.

the ad also said some lights were not working, but, it looks like they all work

I have only played it for about 1/2 hour, but for the money, $44.00 snipe and $45.00 shipping its worth it
