Not a bad idea, kinda like the ball or coin tray on a pachi.
Maybe I can find a catch tray off of something. Maybe an ashtray type thing.

It's a work in progress. I didn't have any plans to go by when I started.

Ok, now I'm going to have to make one of these games. My wife and daughter played one that had quarters in it when we were coming back from Dallas at Christmas. We just stopped to pick up a burger at this convenience store and I couldn't get them to leave. They actually won 3 or 4 dollars. I don't know how they are getting away with putting these in stores like that. If I didn't tell them about the house cut then maybe I could make money to buy more Pachi's!!!

My daughter wants me to make a claw machine next. I thought at first she was crazy but now that I think about it...I might be crazy too!!!

The claw machines in the old penny arcades must have been pretty rustic. I will have to look into how they work ( the old ones) and see if I can pull it off.

Now I need a theam for my coin pusher. The ideas so far are...

    Financial Pressure
    Quarter Pounder
    Fourth Quarter
    Coin Press
    Pat's Economic Stimulis Plan
    College FUN-d

Any thoughts or new ideas? I want to decide on something so I can print the graphics. Then it will start to look like something.

I did find a problem with having coins drop down the Plinko board and also going down the ramp. The ramp idea has a good chance to get the coins to pile up on each other, The Plinko way caused every coin to lay flat for a guarented push, so the playfield will be one level and never build up with coins. I still have the "House Advantage" but it's more fun to see a pile of coins hanging off the edge.

I got to spend some more time on my toy.

I took some advise from TNTahan and put a coin tray to make it easer to get the winnings. I made it out of a sand scoop from out of the toybox from back when the kids were littler.

I needed a way to get the coins to land into the cup so my daughter said to buy a funnel. I told her daddy dosn't like to spend his money, so we took a juce jug and cut the top off and put a clamp on the mouth of the bottle and used the hairdrier to heat it up and it went into any shape I wanted. It works great!

I also got the door hinges on.

With the coin tray working and the doors working well, I need to be able to lock it up.

I found an old cabinet that had a lock on it but no key. I took the lock apart and saw how simple the lock tumblers were. I found a key that fit into the lock and re-aranged the tumblers to work with the new key. Now I need to drill the hole for it.

I think I decided on a theam for it.

    BREAK THE BANK!

I found some good immages to try to use. These pictures are just test immages but I think I like it this way.

I added some more graphics, This time permanent. I don't have time to post pictures now but will soon.

With the new "funnel" made from the juce jug. My daughter said it needed to be wider to catch more coins. So I tested it for a while. I played for about 15 minuts on four coins before I ran out. I did this several times and ended up out of coins after 15 minuts every time. I think that is fair for the player. Play for a while until I get to keep your coins.

At my best I was up 15 coins after starting with 4. If I would have quit I would have been up almost $4.00 after 10 minuts.
