Question PE Error - sensor needed

I've progressed from an earlier HELP thread, to the more technical side of the hobby. I've been getting a PE error, and have eventually established that the coin sensor on the hopper exit slot is not working. It's currently on my kitchen worktop hooked up to a power supply and two digital multimeters, and it doesn't do anything. This little gizmo is made by SHINKOH Electronics and is their part number KR894. Does anyone know where I can get one of these, or a substitute of some kind.
Just a snippit of info for those interested, by removing the sensor, the PE error has gone, and now the HE error pops up after a payout.

I have absolutely no idea if this is of any use, but i stumbled across it whilst googling and thought I should post it

If this is the correct part then it has some technical specs

Yup. I found that one earlier during a search. I needed the info off that pdf to let me set up the sensor for test. Thanks for the thought though. I also checked out their French and US distributors on the internet, but nothing of value popped up there. I've tried Maplin and RS Components sites, but nothing very close there either. I'm struggling

your best bet is to take pictures of the hopper and see if anyone here has a replacement hopper .also contact the vendors like stealth and gaku to see if they have a replacement .

Have managed to make up a pretty ugly replacement using some old bits and bobs, plus some blu tak and sellotape. It's working just great.
I'm now trying to figure out all about payouts and jackpots and bonuses etc. Looks like a lot of fun. Even got my wife hooked on it.

    Thanks for all the interest.

Will keep the forum updated on new finds.
