    Default Infomercial selling Pachislos

Saw an infomercial this morning at 5:30 EST on FSN selling Pachislos. The vendor was Rock Bottom Slots of Tampa FL. The price was 299.97 and you get 200 tokens. Did not see or hear any mention of S&H, but I am sure they will hit you for those costs. Luck of the draw as to what machine they send you. Only recognized a Pulsar as one of the many models that were in the background. They were limiting buyers to a max of ten machines because they no "dealers" want to get as many as they can for resale. The show had lots of hype...only had a limited supply, didn't know when they would get another shipment, buy now as they are selling them right off the floor, etc. At the bottom of the screen there was a web site www.infomercial.com. If you go to the site you can see the same deal that was offered on the infomercial.

Interesting! Here's the hype to save a trip over there. And, you DO pay shipping on top of their price:

    AUTHENTIC CASINO SLOT MACHINE

The sounds, lights, and excitement of hitting the jackpot on a slot machine are the defining signatures of the great casinos in Las Vegas and beyond. Trouble is, the closest anyone could come to owning an actual slot machine were toy replicas that lacked the authentic slot machine look and feel.
Now, for the first time ever, Rock Bottom Slots is giving you a chance to own the real thing and bring the casino home!

    As real as it gets!

Not a toy, these casino games are the real thing, and weigh between 80 and 100 pounds! Every machine is different, and plays a different game. Plus, they’re not the old-style mechanical slot machines that break down easily – they’re fully modernized with solid-state electronics.

    WhatÂ’s the catch?

There isnÂ’t one! Rock Bottom Slots bids on authentic slot machines as they are removed from overseas casinos and completely restores them to as good as new. Until now, an actual refurbished slot machine could sell for $3500 or more - but you can get one of these ultimate conversation pieces for literally pennies on the dollar and at a fraction of what a casino would pay for the same machine!

    100% legal

In addition to being restored to pristine condition, Rock Bottom Slots also retrofits each machine to accept tokens instead of coins – thereby making them legal and for entertainment purposes only. There’s no gambling with these machines – just the sights, sounds and excitement that only an authentic slot machine can provide.

Once restored, your Rock Bottom Slots slot machine is safely shipped directly to your door. Each one is packed with features that every major casino boss has come to expect.

    Durable and sturdy solid-state construction
The original factory keys for opening and servicing the machine
    Fully adjustable odds
    Working lights and sounds
A complete ownersÂ’ and instruction manual
A starter kit with 200 tokens
    A full 1- year warranty
All backed by an unconditional 30-day money-back guarantee! Less S&H

Supplies are extremely limited - get yours today!

Once theyÂ’re gone - theyÂ’re gone, so donÂ’t miss out on this rare opportunity to bring home a genuine slot machine of your very own! Complete with a full 1-year warranty and backed by an unconditional 30-day money back guarantee, itÂ’s your best bet for the ultimate home-casino gaming experience!

I saw the same freakin Info-mercial yesterday also. I love the way they start with $500 then come down to "an amazing low price of $299".

Actually, this info-mercial helps me out in my local market. All I have to do is advertise that mine are lower than what is currently being "Seen on TV"

Just found out that shipping is $99.99. Extra "chips" (token that is) are $45.88 for 300. Extrapolate.. that is about $150 for 1,000 tokens! WOW , what a deal..NOT!

They also ask if you want to upgrade your order to Priority Processing for only an additional $19.95.

All said, the total for a Standard Pachislo, 1,000 tokens, shipping/handling and a fast processing time (less than 6 weeks) = $569.79

Now that is what I call un-be-lievable!

    Any takers????

There are going to be some ticked off buyers if they ever walk into a Sams or Costco and find they've paid over twice even their relatively high prices.

Just seen that show selling the machines WOW what a bargain.... Got to hurry up and get one they don't have to many. And i think they said you were allowed only 10 at a time to stop dealers from buying them up.
Like was said here on the board before some people are going to be pretty angry when they walk into a Sam's or Costco and see them for half the price.
Hurry don't walk RUN the other way.

Can you imagine how ticked off someone would be, if they found out that they got ripped off not once...not twice...but up to TEN TIMES on purchasing pachislos at something like two times (or so) the actual going value? And I'm not talking Ebay value!

I got my wife a pachislo for Christmas, now she has been bitten by the bug. She came running to me Sunday AM when RockBottomSlots was on. I saw the prices, a whopping 200 tokens, and no mention of S&H and walked away. She called them and found out that "you get what we send". That was the end of that!! RIPOFF!!!!

It's bad enough we have to gamble on shipping, if the machine is going to make it to us safe...but to gamble on the model of machine you are going to get...these people are insane!!!

It makes me wonder just how much they invested in those informercials and just how much people getting ripped off it's going to take to break even.

Me, I hope they lose their collective asses!

    Default Infomercials

Now there is someone to be concerned about. Advertising that they are the same as the slot machines found in casinos using the same technology, etc.

That is misinformation and is not at all factual! That's the type of stuff that gets people's attention about the pachislo hobby - in a negative means.
