Green Pachislo owner

I found a Pachislo in my daughter's in-laws' basement in a puddle of water. (didn't know it was a Pachislo until this web site). I don't know anything about it. Some numbers on the cabinet are 1P-4-094 002928. 0414 30611. KM 00002. In says PIONEER under the coin slot, and a whole load of Japanese stuff in very colourful writing. Anyone able to help. I'll try to attach a photo to this message.

I presume if it was found in a puddle of water, that you will make sure it's dry before attempting to power it up!!

If you can explain what problems you are having with it, then we can hopefully point you in the right direction

In going through this site, I see that all of these machines have names, type, ages, and some kind of class or grouping. I was hoping that there was a way to easily describe this one

Hi georger!

It looks like Compirate was able to identify that particular machine for you. Unfortunately, most of the info that comes through about Pachislos is typically in Japanese. I know there is a way to get the pages translated, I just don't know what it is after all these years.

It looks to be a nice game. I like the name Hibiscus of Magic!

Good feeling being among a bunch of folks who know there stuff. Thanks for the input so far. At this time i'm drying it out and checking that the electrical interconnections are corrosion free, and trying to clean up some other corrosion damage eg. the coin manager isn't too pretty. So as yet I haven't powered it up (it's 24V and I don't yet have a transformer), so therefore, I have any problems. When I do get it powered up though, I'm sure I will be back begging for more help.

So I'm looking forward to changing by "Bits's of Madness" into a real "Hibiscuss of Magic"

I'm baaaack. . I've connected it up with a temporary power supply, and Presto.. It works, well mostly, . One functional problem is an error code PE. This occurs when you push the PAYOUT button. The machine spits out ONE token, the PE error code comes on and the thing starts playing music. So far, the only way I've found to fix it is to reset the whole system. (Odds switch key, Start lever etc..). Other than that, I just have a couple of question about operational things.
1) is it possible to set this machine to pay out rather than credit
2) can it be set to run on only one coin credit as opposed to three?

I can't say I've encountered a PE error before?? Usually HE ones, but if I find anything, I'll let you know

Thanks for the reply. The HE error I have managed to create (by disconnecting the power from the hopper). Next to try is disconnecting the coin sensor on the hopper to see what that does, but only thought of late last night.
