    Default Sankyo Fever?

I just picked up my first modern pachinko.

It is a Sankyo - Possibly a Sankyo Fever? It has a swimming theme.
Not only is this my first modern machine, but it is also the first time that i have even TOUCHED a modern pachinko.

I have been looking for information on this machine, or any sankyo modern machines... but after hours of searching, i cant find anything of use.

    First--The easy question.
    1) When playing, does the video screen interact as some sort of second game?

    Now, the hard questions.
    2) What model of machine is this? Fever?
    3) Where can i find info on refurbishing it?
    4) What is it worth?

    Thanks...

The game is CRフィーバー兄貴SP. Which is 'Fever Aniki', literally translates to 'Fever Older Brother'.

Looks like a standard 'Fever' style machine as far as gameplay goes. Hit the start pocket to spin the symbols on the screen, if you get three matching symbols the large gate at the bottom opens for the duration of the fever round for big prizes.

That's what I get for taking a nap, someone sneaks in and identifies a machine before me!

    Question Re: Sankyo Fever?

There are many many jumpers on the back of the machine that do not have anything hooked to them, or (oddly enough) have a red and black wire connected to them... that go nowhere. Any idea what these could be for?

Also, the start "Tulip" on the front of the machine does not open and close.
What is the easiest way to access the workings behind the playfield?
Do i have to remove all the circuit boards in the back to get behind the cell?

Appears that way to me, but i have been wrong before!

    Suggestions?

the open connections are for palour use, such as a battle counter or for hookup to the main palour computer.

the tulips may be opening to fast for you too notice, you need to get a ball in a certain pocket to activate them, the most you can stock is usually 4 openings at a time.
they don't open as soon as you get a ball in, but do ramondly for a second as you are playing

I have noticed the tulip opening for a second, and then closing again. So i guess that must be ok.

Underneath the tulip, there is a place that says OPEN, and behind it there is a pocket.
Under what circumstance does this open and close?

    Thanks again.

the door will open when you hit a fever with all 3 symbols matching.

usually it will open and close for 15 rounds of the fever, you will get the highest ball payout for each ball going into that pocket.

the tulips will open for a longer time and close a lot during the fever

if you don't get at least one ball in during each round it may go into error and need a reset.

your in for a real treat when it does fever

    thanks again.

I had assumed that this machine was not working right. Go figure. Guess you need to know how things are supposed to work... before you declare them to be broken!

Next question... Ummm.. How do i preform a reset?

there should be a small button on the back by the on-off switch.

you hold the button in for a bout 10 seconds as you turn the machine on

It's in the teens and 20's here, still have an ice rink for a driveway (the whole front of the house is the shady side), snoozing under the covers is the best I can do today! Sides, I can't do everything around here!!!

Took the dog for a walk today, the front yard is about 10" lower than the driveway, 45 degrees to the yard, then gradual slope 50 yards to the street. The dog's leash is one of those 24' retractables. He decided he wanted to check out the front yard, stepped off the driveway and proceeded to slide on all fours toward the street. Had to press the stop button to keep him from continuing on, then kind of 'reel him in' fishing style - pull him closer, then release the button and snap my arm back towards him to take up the slack before he slid back, lock the button and do it again till he was back on the driveway. First time he was ready to go back inside right away!
