On my Dream 7 Max (by Takasago) there are 2 dipswitches next to the circular odd-changing button on the inside of the door. Does anyone know what these do? I switched them on and couldn't figure out what it was effecting.

Couldn't find the answer there. These switches are not on the power supply, nor are they volume control switches.

Take a look at your power supply. If there are not 2 switches there to control the "reset after bonus" and "payout credits after bounus" then the 2 switches you're talking about probably control those functions. I have at least one machine where those switches are located inside the door right next to the odds changing reset switch.
Sorry to have sent you to the FAQ. I know they talk about these switches there, but I didn't check to see if they pointed out that they could be either on the power supply or the front door.
