I heard about this one. You get the check, cash it, pay the delivery man and give him your stuff and ...the check bounces and the bank takes the money out of your account.
Now you are out the delivery fee and your stuff.

Yup. When I list anything for sale on craigslist, I always add the statement at the bottom of my ad:
CASH & CARRY ONLY - NO EXCEPTIONS.
That way it cuts down on the scammers a bit.
