Default Fair price for a single shot

What is a fair price for a vintage single shot? All I have is a picture of the front. Thanks!

I would give as much as $75 depending upon condition. This price is under the assumption that it is not a fully restored machine and would require at least some work to bring to playable condition with all the cosmetic components in place are 'in hand'. But, I'm cheap!

Oh... did I mention that price would have to include shipping? As I said, I'm cheap. But then again, with at many machine we've seen on Craig's list at much lower prices it's hard for me to justify higher prices. I would admit though... my price to offer might be a bit higher for a 'single shot' as A)I don't have one and B)they are more rare.

Good luck and I hope this helps!

realistically they go from $0 to about $100 in un-restored but good condition.

A lot would depend on the condition and how many balls come with it. Also, what are you willing to pay for it? I think there is a lot of subjectivity that comes into play here.

I personally wouldn't pay more than $50 for a vintage machine that needs restoration and doesn't come with balls, but that is me (I typically pay $20-$40 for the machines I buy). I have seen others on this forum pay more than $50 for vintage machines because there was something about the machine that appealed to them and helped them justify the purchase amount.

Now, if I cam across a Royal Flash-Flush machine in decent condition, I might pay up to $100 because I really want one. Again it would depend on the condition (and how I could hide the expense from my wife!!!)

To me, a single shot machine would be cool to have, but I personally would not pay more than $50 for it.

I have that exact single shot and one that is a little bit older than that one.

$20 for that one, in really grungy, but complete condition, $75 for my other one that was pretty clean but missing the ash tray... it was also my first single shot, so I was all excited.

on the other end of the spectrum, vintage pachinko sold that very machine, cleaned up, for $400 with balls, manual, etc., plus shipping and has a single shot of that era on their website now for over $600

so, how much is it worth to you? are all the parts there?

the ashtray alone was $50 from vintage pachinko, and I decided to make a nice block of wood to fill the spot, maybe embed a clock or a birthday plaque to the mother in law...

what's the asking price? is it close by, so you don't have to pay $75 to ship?

That helps all and thanks! I had similar feelings and was leaning towards it simply because I don't have one and it would be neat to be able to show the progression of pachi growth. Does this kind of thinking mean addiction?
