Lightbulb Nishijin Model A - Payout Help.

I am working on a 196x Nishijin model a. It is my first Tinker machince.

Problem: When you land a ball into a pocket, the balls get stuck inside the machine, and do not trigger a payout.

I Believe that i have found the problem, but i do not have another machine to look at and compare it to.

Here are a couple of pics of the lever that I believe is not attached properly.

Can anyone post a Good Pic of this area of their machine, so that i can compare this area?
And maybe a hires picture of the whole back of the machine would be great also!
    I think i can take 10Meg emails!

    Thanks

can you take a picture, to include above the lower tray?

specifically, is the jackpot rocker set correctly? (the right side up)

will shoot you a picture in about 2 hours (at work now)

just realized that I have a nishijin A, single shot, so I am not certain that this is the same. here are the pix, though.

I got lucky to get two A's, and then two B's, so I could always look at the other one.

Thumbs up Re: Nishijin Model A - Payout Help.

SUCCESS! I found the problem late last night. I am a happy man.

I did a little minor disassembly, and I located a stuck ball off the track, under the payout lever! It was easier than i thought it would be!

I got this Model-A Pachi from craigslist with the intention of learning how it works... Turned out its in great condition. I started working on it with the thought that even if i destroy it completely, Mudfud needs a new spring and ball tray... ETC. I was sure that it wouldnt go to waste. AND, I could use the spare parts on my NEXT Pachi!

Got it working, tweaked a couple of levers, added some lights and power... and an addict is born! I have decided that this will be my TEST machine. Try out a few different metal polishes, get out the 409 and the hemostats. Not going to get to attached to this one. I'll consider it a sacraficial lamb.

I think i see a B-Sophia on craigslist... I will go check her out today! I really another SuperDeluxe to use as a reference and for spare parts if needed!

    Great detective work!

Never be afraid to disassemble a machine. Just take lots of pictures as you go to remind you how to put it all back together. If you get stuck, the folks in this forum are there to help and support you.

I heard someone else say in this forum not to long ago that playing these machines is only one third of the attraction or fun. The other two thirds come from taking them apart to see what makes them tick.

great job! isn't it fun? the mechanicals, and figuring out how to get them working again, is my main addiction.

and, a sophia B shouldn't be hard to find. then, when you take down the powerflash, you'll have a reference machine.
