Convert 3 token to 1??

Is there anyway to convert/program/modify a 3 token minimum machine to accept and play using 1 token?

The machine is a Yamasa Penguin Paradise.

Short answer "No".
At least no one has figured out a way to do it yet. There are many threads on this topic just do a search.

There is no way to do this,
most newer machines are 3 token only pachislos.

Technically - yes, but it would involve some kind of electronics that pulsed like 3 tokens every time 1 was entered.

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to make this change? SO many people have come here wanting to know how to do that... and I just don't understand. Since we are playing with tokens, three seems the same as one to me! Does it affect the payouts, as would happen with an American Slot machine?

I do have a machine that will play one, two or three tokens and I think I always play three.

Anyway, if you figure it out, post your info as I am sure there will be interest.

I was just thinking abut your question, and yes it is possible, and I can think of a simple way to do it using a LM555 Ic...


But why? You would still be paying out at 300%?

Think about it, you put in 1 token instead of 3. It be impossible to fill the hopper!

If interested, PM me. I can dig up a old circuit board program, and see what it can come up with.

on the one two and three bet models, you are only getting one line of play for each token.

one token just gets you the middle line, if anything comes up on the other lines you don't win on it.

OK OK people If it Ain't Broke , Don't fix it . The machine lights up, it accepts tokens / balls and all the play features designed into it at the factory work ...

Enjoy the Pachi , unless it has some problem i.e. : reel lights , fuses , hopper sticky , speaker blown, (pachinko's) playfield toasted. then do some repairs or mods .
