Default added a empty tray indicator to ginza, single shot

I was lucky to have a lever switch that was NC (normally closed). this way, I could put the lever into the ball flow, and when the tray was full behind the lever, it would keep the circuit open. when the balls deplete, the switch springs open and turns the light bulb on. I will probably replace the incandecent bulb with an LED once my parts come in.

p.s. first pic is the lit corner, from the front. second pic shows the circuit with the lever switch buried in the balls.

Was there another location for a hopper empty light? Behind some colored lens?

nope. no other lens and no other switch, so I added it myself. I have a blinking red LED off some tech show freebie that I may try to wire in there, but for now at least I have an indicator.

this machine needs a little help sometimes when it runs out of balls. just filling the top doesn't always get things going again. have to reset some levers in the back.

i'm guessing this machine was earlier in pachinko evolution.

also, I posted a quick video about it here.

The ball handling system in the old days was people behind the machines, not the wonderful automatic systems they have today.
