    Default Now it's my turn...

...I finally bought a vintage pachinko. Shopping for a vintage is what lead me to find PachiTalk many moons ago.

It's a Sanyo model and I liked the look and design (the butterfly caught my attention), so I finally made the plunge and bought it.

I'm not quite sure why I bought it at this moment, because it will have to sit for quite a while until I can restore it. Hopefully it won't take too much work. It definitely needs a good cleaning and the outside glass is missing, inside plastic has a small crack in it. Need to add feet. Not sure if anything is missing from the back. I'll have to lean on all you vintage owner/restorers for help with this one when the time comes to get to work on it.

Hey thats a super design, congratulations!!

Seems we both have Sanyo's to restore, although yours looks to have the wiring for the lights I think, which mine doesn't have

It's going to be great to follow your restoration too, hopefully you can get around to it sooner than you think??

Really cool machine. I think the butterfly does at a lot to it.

Looking at your machine's mecahnics, I'm wondering about the Hopper Empty controls. From what I can see they seem to be missing.. but it could be a combination of my bad eyesight and the distance the photo was taken.

If you can get maybe three photos of the back components, 1-top, 1-Middle and 1-bottom, I can get a better look to see what's up. I don't have this model of Sankyo, but they are are really similiar.

Again congrats and welcome to Vintage Club!

Thank you and oh, I hope I'm not missing too many parts. Here are some close up images as requested. Nice and large.

It does have some wiring for lights, so I hope I can get those working. I love your design too. The birds in your design caught my eye on vintagepachinko, but those prices were just too high for me. If I can get to it sooner and since we have the same model we might be following the same advice for restoration.

Let me know if you think the "feet" for my vintage Nishijin will fit your Sanyo, maybe we can trade. I removed mine since I built a cabinet to hang on the wall Parlor style. It should be a simple matter of measuring the depth of the machine front to back.

So far, in the backbottom picture, the greenish plastic piece with the round part on it - the wire that sticks down from it needs to be on the right side of the grey plastic part, not the left.

The upper hopper empty shooting cutoff wire is missing, but it isn't a big issue, like the payout teeter cover is missing - doesn't affect play.

Oh, and congrats on the acquisition, nice design!

Great photos... Compirate beat me to it with the 'diagnosis'. I think, that the 'release' mechanism in the "closeup" is not connected on the left side. This isn't a big deal either and only used to 'dump' the balls from the front "pin hole".

Great buy, this is gonna be fun!

I noticed that too, I just figured I needed to leave something for you to find!

very nice looking Pachiko... Love the vintage machines.. there similar and yet each one has its own design... i like the unusual play field the butterfly makes it really neat

Thank you for all the feedback and I'm glad the missing and unconnected parts will not affect the play!
