Dolphin tale is a good family movie and a true story. It's worth seeing.

its been awhile, but, here's a few more movie reviews

    Snow White and the Huntsman

well done with a completely different twist on the story

CGI was good and there was a lot of action all the way thru

the movie is 2 hours long, Snow kicked some butt

the dwarfs weren't cute, but were good fighters

if you like action, fantasy movies like i do, you will like this

    I rate it a solid 9

    The Dictator

not usually my kind of movie

it was funny, but stupid like all his other movies

    I rate it a barely 5

The Dictator seems like it is a funny movie but the plot behind it seems rather bad.

I know this movie has been out for a while but I thought I'd add it.

    Rango.

Great movie. (didn't watch in theaters)
However if you have it on DVD watch the extended version. The extended version cut out major scenes to the plot of the movie which is why it didn't get many good reviews.

The movie is very funny. The story behind it is sad at times.(gets all the emotions in there.) Johnny Depp does a great voice over for Rango.

As the theatrical version I rate it about 3.5 out of 5.

    Extended version I rate 4 - 4.5 out of 5.

Prometheus. Worth the 20 dollar IMAX ticket. Amazing visuals and answers some 30 yr old questions but asks others.

If you're a fan of the original movies then it's a must see of course as its a quasi prequel. On its own it's a great flick as well.

    its been awhile

but, here's 2 similar movie reviews

Abraham Lincoln vs Zombies, don't waste your time unless you like B movies.

not much action, set in civil war time, costumes and guns were all from that time period.

I watched it all the way thru hoping it would get better

    I rate it a 2

Abraham Lincoln against the Vampires, much better worth watching if you like this type of movie.

set a few years before the civil war, it starts out with Abe as a small boy who sees his mother attacked

story line is more believable, costumes and weapons were accurate from that time period

lots more action right from the start and all the way thru

    more my kind of movie

    I rate it a solid 8

    2 more movie reviews

    Hugo

not a really new movie, it was great in blu ray, it wasn't what I thought it would be, but, I really enjoyed it,

Hugo's dad died and his mean uncle took him in living in the train station

his uncle had him cleaning, oiling and winding all the old clocks there

Hugo is all alone when his uncle disappers, and lives on his own

its a good story and set in the time period

    I rate it a solid 8

    The Hobbits part one

the movie is excellent, fantastic grafics and scenery, its 2 hours and 40 mins long

the first 30 mins were on the slow side, but, the movie picks up, its a shame I have to wait a year to see part 2

if you liked the LOR series, you will love this

lots of dwarves, orks and goblins fighting

I give it a solid 9, if they did both parts together I would give it a 10

Well if they did that then both would be of worse quality and it wouldn't be as big of a hype. Plus now they got you suckered in waiting for the next part.

    Oz the Great and Powerfull

a must see movie, its going to be a Disney classic

it starts out a little slow in B & W but picks up all the way thru in color

great CGI effects, vivid colors and lots of action

the storyline is basically the same, but completely different

small kids might get scared, but, its a good family movie for both adults and older kids

    I rate it a solid 10!!!

I'll be buying it in 3D bluray when it's released

That looks like a really good movie. I watched the trailer when I went to see Lincoln and it looked really cool.

So here is my movie review.

    Lincoln:

It is slow at first but you get into the story really fast. It really pulls you into the story and you feel all their emotions and really lets you get a feel for what life was like. By then end you won't even know that you sat through an almost 3hr movie. (kinda like Lord of the Rings in that aspect)

I give that movie a Solid 10 as well.

I will be buying it when it is released on DVD.
