    another movie review

    the Hangover---R rated

The movie itself was pretty good, but tons of swearing with some light nudity and a lot on inuendos.

4 buddies go to Vega for one's bachlor party and wake up in the morning and don't remember a thing that happened the nite before.

the whole movie is about them back tracking their steps to find out
where one onr their missing buddies are.

don't take the kids to see this one

I rate it a 8 and would maybe buy it on dvd when it comes out just to check out the extra features they usually put on them.

    another movie review

Harry Potter and the half blood prince!!

well the whole Harry Potter bunch looks too old to still be in school, now if Hogwart's had a junior college on the grounds that would be ok

the confusing love between the four of them is more high school level and none of them still aren't sure its a match made in heaven.

maybe their love lives will get better the next movie, the filming and special effects are fantastic as usual and the movie is around 2 1/2 hours long.

one professor has them up to his place and serves them all a glass of wine

some parts of the movie didn't make sense and I've seen them all, someone does die at the end, but, I won't give that away

the movie ends with everything just hanging and nothing really fixed or solved, I guess thats to get us to watch the next one

I rate it a 10 and must see for fantasy or Harry Potter lovers

I will be getting the dvd in high def when it comes out

Just got back from seeing Moon!

Really good film but maybe a bit slow paced for some. I found it to be very sad as well.
( Funny I never read anyones reviews in the papers on the main theme of the film just the superficial things)

I rate it 2 out of three 7s

and now fro a scarey movie review

    Orphan

the story of a famliy with issues, wife is recovering AA, they have a boy and girl and lost one little girl.

they decide to adopt an orphan named Ester and bring her into their home.

    thats when the troubles begin!!!

the movie starts out slow and just takes off like a rollercoaster from them on, gaining speed as it goes along.

Ester is like "the bad seed" times two

the ending has a strange twist to it, you'll have to see the movie to find out

murder, blood and fire make for a good movie

    I rate it a 8+

Having 2 children one a 4 year old boy and one an (almost) 12 year old girl, means it's not easy trying to pick a movie to see that will suit us all as a family

So it was great to find that Disney's G-Force opened yesterday in the UK, so off we went to see it this morning in all it's 3D glory

It was exactly what you expect from Disney, lots of humour, lots of action, and cute furry animals

My Daughter loved the Guinea pigs, my son loved the transformers-like parts of the movie...

We all enjoyed it, although I must say that I personally preferred 'Bolt'

But if you're looking for a fun way to spend an hour or so where the kids won't get bored, then this is a great movie to take them to,

I'd rate it about a 7 out of 10, but not sure I'd sit through it all again, although the children will MAKE me buy it when it's available on DVD

do they want some Guinea pigs now

in grade school my son took care of a classroom pet guinea pig during the summer, he was cute and furry, when excited they make an alien type sound

my brother got a pair many years ago and in no time he had around 20 of them

My daughter has a hamster for now...and there was one in the movie too...

But many years ago, before the children, I had 2 Parrots and about 6 Guinea Pigs!!

they were great, very friendly and most of them were Abyssinian, long haired and rossette with crazy hair and variegated colours

They were all supposed to be female when they were purchased from a show breeder, but one day I found a couple of baby ones!!

    Boy was I surprised!!

    G.I. Joe

Its an action packed movie, from the very beginning to the end

I don't know a lot about the G.I.Joes.even though my sons collected all of them when they were younger.

the special effects and fight scenes fill the screen with action, and some flashbacks gave an idea of their past life before.

the story and acting was excellent, but, I don't see how they can built all thses secret bases all over and special weapons and planes without anyone knowing construction was goin on

I rate it a solid 10 and would watch it again and buy the dvd when it comes out

    two movies reviews today

    District 9 by peter jackson

the top grossing movie for the week

Scott Mendelson: District 9 Tops the Box Office While GI Joe Plummets: Huff Post Weekend Box Office Review

it starts off a little goofey with the government trying to give 24 hour eviction notices to the prawn aliens

but, it turns out to be an action packed si-fi movie, sure to be classic

I rate it a 10 and I'm sure a lot of members who are into si-fi would love it

    the second movie is

The Last House on the Left.

an escaped con with friends and family wreak terror where ever they go.

lots of violence, blood, killing with sex and nudity thrown in.

its not for the weak of heart, the acting and special effects were excellent.

the movie keeps you on the edge of your seat, I even jumped a little in one scene

its not a date movie, unless your date likes this type

I rate it a solid 9 and would see it again

    another movie review

    Inglourious B@sterds

the movie starts out great with a lot of action, then slows down for quite a while, it picks back up and slows down again, but the ending 30 mins are excellent.

I expected more action and less talk in this movie, so I was a little dissapointed.

the acting and action scenes were very good, it is an excellent movie and i would rate it an 8

buying it on dvd or bluray when available would be doubtful for me.

    another movie review

    Year One

YouTube - Year One - Official Trailer [HD]

Its on the raunchy side and goofey, some may find it not very tastefull, but, it was funny

its a Monty Python style movie and moves along at a good pace all the way thru. one minuite its a group of cavemen and women and in the next goes to the old testement days of the bible with cain and able, then, it contuinues along to the roman days.

the acting, scenery and special effects were good. I would rate it a solid 9.

I would consider buying the dvd when it comes out--I hope they add bloppers to it

    and yet another movie review

    Zombieland

I enjoyed the movie, nothing is better than killing off zombies by the hundreds in many different ways

the movie is pretty fast paced, but does have a few slow downs along the way.

these are the fastest moving zombies i've ever seen in a movie and they can be killed.

the rules of fighting or avoiding zombies are listed along the way in the movie

4 misfits join together in the fight and do pretty good.

    I would rate it a solid 9.

    my latest movie reviews

    Twilight New Moon

Like the first movie this one was also a dissapointment to me

Its 95% chick flick and 5% guy movie.

the first hour was very boring for me, the 2nd hour was a little better, but still not that great!!

the wolves were about the only neat thing about the movie and that was maybe 5 mins of the film

the vampires didn't even suck any blood!!!

my rating is a 4, I'm sure the ladies will rate it higher

I wouldn't waste my money on the dvd when it comes out, even if it was loaded with extras!!

    ____________________________________________________________ ___________________

the 2nd movie review is 2012

I saw the movie 2012 and it was very well done

the CGI grafics were excellent and the movie kept you intrested all the way thru!!

if you like fantasy and end of the world movies then this ones for you

a manly movie all the way thru

I would buy this movie in Blu Ray when its released

    I rate it a solid 10

I thought 2012 was OK, good for what it is but did not do it for me. A good one time watch but not a keeper.

Why even bother with Twilight anything...lame books, lame movies

I am waiting for red dawn 2010 and the next Star Trek
